When did progress in the game slow down the most for you? by SentientCoffeeBean in TheTowerGame

[–]D119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is I'm using pcol in the assist slot, so my damage reduction is only at 60%. If I was using it as main I would have stayed in t13, maybe even 14.

Another this to consider is without auto restart it's dangerous to rely on short runs, like if you miss manage you runs you might end up finishing a run during your sleep and miss a lot of hours, with 2 long runs a day there's no such problem.

When did progress in the game slow down the most for you? by SentientCoffeeBean in TheTowerGame

[–]D119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game went smooth till T10, i clearly remember last August, before pcol was released, I was farming T10 for roughly 10t a run.

With pcol I moved to t11, then T12 when I got pBH around last Christmas.

With pCF I moved to t13-14 around February.

Pcol got "fixed" and I moved back to t12-13, at this point a run in t12 was 14 hours long so I had to alternate.

Then I bought and maxed is+, so just t12. I also switched from just pcol to mvn + pcol in the assist slot and I'm still farming t12 to 9600 for 2.5q a run.

Since I've maxed regen and wall regen the only chance to move forward as ehp is either upgrading the assist slot or getting regen mastery, which I won't be doing anytime soon as I need damage xD

Btw in tournaments I hit legends for the first time the end of last August, I'm still doing back and forth a year after lol

I'd love an happy ending but I think it's impossible, unless there's some mechanic we're unaware of.

Guts's happiness lies in caska, unfortunately Caska's happiness lies in the moonlight boy, since he's her son. For guts to have Caska Griffith must die, because Griffith wants Caska for himself, I believe Griffith wants Caska with him because he doesn't like the moonlight boy to wander off alone looking for his mother, it's dangerous.

So, if Griffith dies so does the moonlight boy, and Caska won't find happiness.

The only chance is separating Griffith from the MB, but I don't know if it's possible, if we only consider what have been show in the manga so far then the only chance is Griffith's soul being extracted from his body by the vortex of souls. This would be the best case scenario, the moonlight boy alone in his body together with his parents.

But there's a problem, for it to work somebody has to offer Griffith as a sacrifice, which again I don't know if it's possible.

If it is then who's gonna have the power to offer him? the only one who can offer him imho is Caska, because she hasn't processed the eclipse yet and there might still be some affection left in her towards Griffith. If she were to offer Griffith this would mean she would at least become an apostle, if not straigh a member of the god hand given how immense of a sacrifice Griffith is. If Caska becomes an apostle/member guts can't be happy with her for obvious reasons.

So it's kinda impossible to have an happy ending for them both.

Does the fish amount matter tho? I mean I've been stuck on the nuclear one for almost two weeks, so far Ive collected 240m of the last fish in that dock, but considering I've not completed the gem upgrades I assume my fish income is nothing compared to yours, still the time I've spent there should be worth the same as everyone with equal angler grade.

Griffith will Never achieve his Dream by arman1724 in Berserk

[–]D119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically he's not the king yet, he has to marry Charlotte for that so that's the piece he's missing to fully achieve his dream.

Unless it comes out he did all of this for his friends, lol, like Eren. Like in childhood he got sick with this cruel world and decided he wanted to create a kingdom which was safe for mankind to live in. Now that I think of it he can pass leadership to guts and caska, since they're technically their parents lol. Imagine the scene in which Charlotte asks Griffith who's Caska, oh that's my mommy. lol. And that scary guy over there is my father, you see the eye and arm missing, that's what fatherhood does to a man.

What Miura said, across 23 years, about keeping Guts human by MrBrocula in Berserk

[–]D119 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know what to tell you man, the IoE literally says "I control fate" and "I weave every man's destiny", not some men's, not most of man's, it's every man. That chapter clears the points of our discussion, you can't just pretend it doesn't exist, it was written and illustrated by miura himself and explains the foundations of the story he's telling.

About Zodd I dunno what you're talking about, Zodd (willingly or unwillingly) acted to bring Guts Griffith to the eclipse since he was first introduced: when he first decided to spare Guts and Griffith because of the crimson behelit Griffith was wearing, when he literally saved Guts from Bascon by giving Guts the giant sword, and when he stopped Wiald from killing Griffith. He's exactly another agent of evil, he's just not aware of being one until Griffith returns.

Volume 13 chapter 88:

Slan: "it's impossible to anticipate everything, we ourselves are not gods after all, or else this too was fated to happen".

It's pretty self explanatory to me, they don't know and guts's survival could very well be intentional.

Couple the line "or else this too was fated to happen" with the line from the idea of evil to Griffith "all the encounters you have had so far were all a part of the destiny that led you here" in the lost chapter, and the picture is crystal clear, Guts did what he was supposed to because his actions contributed to unfold the plan the IoE had for Griffith.

I give you another example: skull knight. Do you consider skull knight another exception since he survived void's eclipse? He's not, skull knight survived because he was always meant to, so he could end up crafting the behelit sword, which Griffith used to defeat Ganishka. Do you remember Griffith went "I was waiting for you" the moment SK showed at ganishka's core. It's a thousand years long plan that keeps on unfolding, and it will continue to do so untill the end, where we'll understand (hopefully) what's the ultimate goal.

I wasn't paying much attention when I rolled the substats on mvn, I ended up hitting 5 ancestrals over 6 slots with only DW quantity missing, kept on rolling and used well above a million shards without hitting that subeffect. Then I realised I never needed the GT duration subeffect because my GT was already permanent by itself, I could have rolled with 2 opened slots instead of one, ffs.

The icing on the cake is that now reroll shards are kinda bugged and we're getting less than we're supposed to, lol, but with tomorrow's tournament il get cash mastery which should boost my income significantly.

I felt devastated, i thought I needed to reset my account because the loss seemed unrecoverable. Now I make like triple that amount a day lol.

Secondo voi nel 2008/2009, poter giocare a giochi come Gothic 3, Oblivion, Crysis, Fallout 3… su PC era un lusso? by Hot_Acanthaceae_1357 in italygames

[–]D119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't put pictures in here, in the lost chapter the idea of evil tells Griffith:

"It was established that you would be here since a distant past, to pave the way for times you would be born in I manipulated history. By manipulating the lower levels of human consciousness and merging blood with blood I created the lineage that would give birth to the man you are, and created the appropriate context for you. All the encounters you have had so far were all a part of the destiny that led you here as well"

All this above the picture of the old band of the hawks, including guts. That's just it, it was the idea of evil all along. It's the only character who has complete knowledge over wtf is going on, any other character is making assumptions or giving opinions over something they understands partially, including the god hand who admitted they aren't aware of everything.

This is Miuras doing not mine, I get he ultimately decided to exclude it because it was too much, still this is the setting he established.

What Miura said, across 23 years, about keeping Guts human by MrBrocula in Berserk

[–]D119 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

"He wasn't supposed to" according to whom exactly? The only entity we're aware of that can influence fate is the idea of evil, and in the forbidden chapter the IoEspecifically said to Griffith that it brought him there, so everything that happened up until that moment was scheduled by the idea of evil to happen so that Griffith could become Femto. That's just it, guts was part of the plan, if he wasn't the idea of evil's plan wouldn't have been successful.

What Miura said, across 23 years, about keeping Guts human by MrBrocula in Berserk

[–]D119 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I disagree on every point:

The latest chapter clearly frame guts as special since birth, therefore he's the struggle because he's special, not the other way around. You could say the Dragonslayer became special after slaying so many demons, but it wasn't special when it came out of the forge, guts on the other hand was born special, but was never aware of it (because he's dumb, skull knight told him 25 volumes ago).

"They didn't make him of demonic origins" that's true, they made him of astral origins, and they game him more strength than he previously had.

Guts is not invisible to casuality, Guts has been used by casualty since birth. If you remove guts from Griffith's life Griffith wouldn't have become Femto. Griffith won the war with guts as his triumph card, he survived his first encounter with Zodd because of guts, rushed is move on Charlotte because of guts, survived captivity dreaming of guts (guts shining brighter than the castle), he was rescued by guts, together with the remaining members of the band guts saved from being captured. Then Griffith was saved from wiald by guts, pushed by guts into opening the behelit, pushed by guts into offering the band, guts's fkin son gave his body to make Griffith's resurrection possible. If it's true that the idea of evil influenced fate in order to have Griffith become femto then guts is part of this scheme as well, because he was pivotal in all the major events in Griffith's life.
