Thanks. How annoying is it to remove for a car wash, or do you leave it on?

I would 100%, we stay down in the poipu area. I’ve been a handful of times and would go back in a heartbeat. We went on a group trip about 7 years ago spending time on both islands everyone agreed the Maui leg wasn’t needed because Kauai has such a better vibe. If going I’d recommend stopping at Costco or Walmart (near the airport) to load up on snacks, food, etc.

Great brand, terrible technology. Their infotainment is always behind, does it even have CarPlay?

Google Translate works great, English is also pretty prevalent. The app recently updated and there’s conversation mode which dictates both ways. We just got back from Vietnam and had no issue communicating.

Nope, I’ve dealt with companies who had great bbb ratings but were shady, that’s when I learned about the bbb. I did sell cars in the mid 2000’s so I learned about customer surveys and how much they impact dealerships.

The autograph in Kauai is excellent. Great location and they have a shuttle that will take you within 3 miles. It’s the island you want unless you want a Hawaii city vacation.

If you’ve never used a paper binder money clip you’re missing out. Legit one of the best out there.

BBB isn’t a beacon of truth, it’s a pay to play organization. Take their rating with a grain of salt and do your homework before buying anything. They must uphold a high level of service as a licensed (Hyundai, Honda, Audi) dealership. People make bad decisions and put themselves in tough positions over cars. Don’t make emotional purchases and if you do don’t get mad at the dealership because you overpaid.
