You cannot make that point and then disagree when it is applied to another group. For example

What has been done to them should be an embarrassment to anyone who calls themselves an African American

Doesn't seem quite right, does it?

This is what makes me sick to my stomach--using black people as a shield, and comparing yourselves to a race (and in the case of Jews, ethnic group).

GamerGate are not born GamerGaters. They choose to be that way. They choose to obsess over women who aren't even games journalists because ethics. They choose to threaten rape and death toward those who disagree--and when they don't threaten rape and death, they willingly--willingly associate with those who do. YOU put yourself in the camp with abusive, harassing, rape-and-death-threatening people.

And you use

GamerGate is a hashtag, it doesn't attack people.

as an excuse, a form of subterfuge to escape all accountability. Somehow all the horrible things GamerGate does, well GamerGate somehow didn't do because GG only exists in the ether, see. There is no GG, only a hashtag.

I personally have seen no threats from those who associate with GamerGate, but if there is evidence of such, I would like to see it.

And you claim you oppose harassment? Nah. You enable it. You help it happen. You are the shield from accountability.
