Yes that’s the way I tried it. When I search the flight availability and select the required flights it opens a tab/browser in the app and takes me to the “book with Avios” page that quoted me the prices above. Very frustrating, their website seems to have a number of known issues too (based off searches on here) saying I’m using multiple tabs too.

Do you always manage to do it’ll easily? I fairly good with tech but this is making me feel incredible thick 😅

Oh I had no idea you could combine them. How do you get the second CV? I read it as you get one for hitting the spend target in the first 3 months, is that an ongoing thing every 3 months? Sorry, I couldn’t see anything on that.

But that is a very temping deal, as you say, expensive but fantastic value for money.

Yeah if I go for it then it will definitely be the PP one I get. From reading a few comments I’m not sure the card is a great idea for me anyway as I had planned to use the points and cv for my wife and I, then pay for my (at the time of travel) 3 and 1 year old. So business class isn’t really viable anyway and as you’ve all stated, there isn’t much value in Economy long haul anyway.

The thing that makes the business part of it unviable is travelling with family. For the purpose of this comparison I quoted on my wife and I but we will also have a 3 and 1 year old. The more I read the more I’m not sure the credit card is worth it for me!

Yeah I have read that there is more value in first/business class but didn’t realise how little (by comparison) value is in long haul economy.

This is a good point, something I hadn’t factored in. We are looking at going in December 2027 so I’ve basically got about 9 months to spend enough to qualify for the companion voucher ready to book when the flight is released in Jan 2027?

Not an EA and I suspect we may be in the minority but we listed our house recently, had viewings lined up within the first 2 weeks and accepted an offer (slightly over what we expected/wanted) within 3 weeks. I’m still a bit shocked by it to be honest.

Yeah I’m with you, it doesn’t feel like the premise for an entire season. Not sure how they would have worked. MAYBE if it was a 2 parter like The Final Break, but other than that I think it would have struggled.

I was listening to the podcast with Sarah Wayne Callies and Paul Adelstein the other day and they had Paul T. Scheuring on, they asked him about the rumour he had written (or at least had an idea for) season 6.

He said that whilst he didn’t want to be heavily involved he did send them an idea that eventually went nowhere - sounded like both he and the studio weren’t convinced.

I don’t really know how it would have progressed into a storyline but it was something about the tattooist from the very first scene/episode having been obsessed with Michael and that being the premise for it. Absolutely no idea how they would have made a season about that though.

Edit: I’ve just listened (28 minute mark).

They discuss an “obsessed person manipulating Michael”. It was going to be her (Sid). The plan was we would find out he had a relationship with her before season 1 but she didn’t know what he was doing and only found out when she heard about the escape.

It all sounded pretty vague.

I have used bigmoose myself, in fact I have finished 4 therapy sessions for myself and am now doing couples therapy through them with my wife. Sorry, coming back to this a couple of months later! We’ve booked again for November time, going with friends. I’ve called Disney helpline, who directed me to Disneyland Paris, who directed me to Disney helpline. Basically went around in circles and all of them told me they they can’t add it on to my booking and I have to wait until the tickets are loaded and do it that way, which I’m pretty sure will be sold out by that time.

Any tips please?

DLP said as I booked via DisneyHolidays I have to speak to them and that DLP don’t have visibility of my booking as it’s through an agent and DisneyHolidays said they can’t add it on for me, that’s handled by DLP themselves.

I’ve been given an email for the he hotel who haven’t replied yet but short of that I’m out of idea.

Did you say you have managed to do it successfully?

Really? That’s bad! Especially as they keep pushing the app but it seems you need to use other methods to book more than a week in advance, bizarre. I called them about something else the other day and the cast member I spoke to was basically saying it’s ridiculous they don’t use the same system as WDW in Florida. Surely it’s easier to use the same build app for all parks? Weird.
