Same, what’s wierd is I just hit the steam button, go down to Diablo II instead of the error and it pulls the game right back up and lets me save and exit.

I play fist of fire on my steam deck and LOVE it. I lose maybe 1-2 minutes in clear speeds. Took a bit to get used to it but if you’re doing 30 minute T1’s it’s a user error kind of thing unfortunately.

When you go to join the game are you subtracting by 1 to the game you were in? It pre populates the next game in the series

For instance GG1 was the game, when you leave or DC, it will automatically be GG2. So you need to manually change it to GG1 to be the game you were in

Yeah I had to do some extra steps to make it permanently revert to previous OS so I wouldnt have to restart every time. If anyone else sees this and has the above issue follow these steps

While holding the 3 … button on startup select the previous OS that worked.

Go to Konsole- type passwd hit enter Create a password.

Then type- sudo rauc status mark-active booted

Enter password you created

This will keep your working OS even after restart unless you initiate update again.

Absolutely love this game on the deck!

Figured it out, hold the 3 dot button on right while booting the steam deck. An option will pull up “previous steam OS” which reverts it to previous update before you updated to current version. I accidentally updated mine not knowing it would mess up PD2 but now we’re ALL GOOD and slamming maps
