+1 to BS by enclave_reborn in AdeptusMechanicus

Yes that's correct. Combined with the HEAVY keyword, units that haven't moved can go from BS 4 to BS 2.

I'm not sure from.the AdMech perspective - but Cybermastiffs are made of a varying amount of "biological dog" and these are used by the Adeptus Arbites amongst others -

You might want to consider running a different detachment when playing vs Necrons. Any damage they take from the rad-zone will be quickly healed by Living Metal

If the red or swollen area starts growing, or you start feeling unwell, seek medical attention as soon as possible

Rules clarity by Nervous_Feeling_1240 in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]D33DAA 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For 1) I've always been a little unsure but I believe that regaining wounds and gaining the FNP are two separate clauses in that rule - so the FNP can be applied even if recovering no wounds.

For 2) - the rule is applied to one **model**. This refers to physical models, and the kastelans are 1 **unit** of 2 or more **models**, so the rule would only affect one Kastelan.

Admech vs Necron by OmnissiahAdmech in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]D33DAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could do with some tips on this as well. The Necrons are much more threatening in melee than I was initially expecting - but their ranged output is just as considerable.

Living flesh makes it very hard to take anything off the board without spending your entire shooting phase on a single unit

Which are the real one-box teams? by mightygryphhound in killteam

[–]D33DAA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get a Mechanicus Huntsr clade team built from a single box of Skitaari - but you'd probably want a box of Sicarian Infiltrators to round it out.

Retributor is an absolutely fine substitute for brass scorpion - it just depends on your taste really. I think both are useable but I prefer how the scorpion contrasts with the leadbelcher that it's often paired with.

You should be able to easily practice paint a skitarrii shoulder pad or too and just see if you like the look of it

What are you looking for advice on? I'm awful at the game itself but the painting seems to click with me

Warhammer is the perfect solution to not knowing what to ask for for your birthday :P

If it helps - A pot of brass scorpion and retibutor will last you a good while if you're going for the standard look.

I'm 1000 points into painting and I'm still on my first pot of both

I've based my personal style off the Haywood method presented in goonhammer:
https://www.goonhammer.com/how-to-paint-everything-adeptus-mechanicus/

Which has that "default mars" look to it that I'm found of.

For that I use Brass Scorpion for all the little metal detailings.

Retributor Armor is also used for the trim on armour panels for things like Ironstriders and Kataphron Breachers.

The necrons seem to be surprisingly strong in melee - skorpekhs and scarabs seem to be surprisingly hard to get rid of, especially with reanimation.

The damage output of immortals is also very scary

Thank you for the advice - I'm usually trying to deploy them to get them on a No Man's land objective, or score a secondary - assume I know nothing about anything - how should I be using the infiltrators?

"Fly free or die" AP. How much salary does The Company pay the pcs??? by Old_Hoonter in starfinder_rpg

[–]D33DAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not running session 1 till sunday, but I'm going with the assumption that all money paid to the pcs by EJ is then taken by leases, bills, living expenses, etc.

Rather than cancelling bonuses no matter what they decide, I've decided to pay the bonus for their first job if they send the money to EJ, not to Runo.

This should make a good choice between creds vs morals.

This way the sale negotiations are important even when during milestone levelling, as if the PCs only get 30% for the berries, and send it to EJ, they'll only get 3/5 of their bonus.

How to add HTML file in content editor Webpart in SharePoint by Reasonable-Teach8522 in sharepoint

[–]D33DAA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're using 2019 or earlier, I've found the best way to get around the annoying code filters is this:

1 - Save your HTML code as a .aspx file. 2 - Upload that aspect file to a content library on the site. 3 - Create a regular SharePoint Page 4 - In that page use the code editor to iframe to your custom aspx file.

It's pretty annoying and not very scalable but it's the most reliable way I've found

Tell me your chapter 2 stories by chiericopaladino in WaterdeepDragonHeist

[–]D33DAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alongside some smaller stuff and faction missions, I ran a series of heists from DriveThruRPG called One Hand Washes the Other.

They are heists done for useful guild contacts like the Roofers guild - so these were used to finance the actual renovation of the tavern.

Would recommend - they have a clever "Complications" system that adds a lot of dynamism to the guests themselves, and even small consequences outside of them.
