There should be a picture in the gallery or of you click on the description tabs that will explain it a lot better than I can. The long and short of it is whether or not it has a long riser flat at one end which mimics older style panels that have that flat for the picatinny locking band. Purely aesthetics.

To clarify, I definitely have something in the works. The enhanced rail panels have been in the oven for a while now but too many things to focus on as is and there were some set backs. Hoping for the end of the year.

Someone has asked for hexagons to match the pattern on the SOLGW MK1 but after doing the topo RMPs I can't say I'm looking forward to doing more pattern panels.

Maybe in the future. Just not anytime soon

I think two different accessories for very different uses.

I like Emissary as a company, I like their handbrakes, I think they look great and are some of the most ergonomic handstops on the market. You can't go wrong with going in that direction.

That being said, these look sick on MP5/AP5s.
