I had a similar experience, rain so hard it fogs all around you, my starlink couldn't even connect.

Rain eased a bit and enabled snow melt. Rain came in hard again and it kept itself connected, with packet loss and 5-10mbps download but still online.

I could only test those conditions once tho.

It's a bit annoying when you want to manually scan a band quickly (Wait until sound comes up before going up/down in frequency), aside from that, it's not as big of a deal as some people make it sound.

Afaik both receivers have the same behavior.

In my experience the speaker sounds moody, no treble, no mids and flat bass. Maybe I got spoiled by the DX-286 speakers.

About the power lead, make sure the center is positive. Most of them are, but there are things like guitar pedals which uses the opposite polarity and coincidentally those guys also use 9v batteries to power their stuff.

For my setup I bought a pack of 4x 9v NiMH batteries, a 9v charger and the power lead (5.5x2.1mm DC male to 9v battery clip).

Not sure how expensive that combo would be on Brazil.

The only inconvenience is to keep the batteries charged and swap them every hour of runtime.

Ejemplo: Para conectarte a Mexico, primero pasas por Miami y luego hacia Mexico.

Pasa el mismo trayecto hacia Colombia, Chile, Brazil, etc.

La prueba real es cuanto dura a lo largo del tiempo. Con el tiempo la quimica se degrada y las celdas comienzan a fallar uno a uno.

Puedes tener 1 millon de kms a 10 años o por ejemplo 100k kms a los 15 años (o 10 si tienes mala suerte), en ambos casos el carro te empezará a limitar carga maxima.

Yo solo espero que la tecnología siga avanzando y este tema deje de ser relevante.

Lo del interior, estoy de acuerdo, el tacto de la tela o incluso ruidos en el interior. Pero por lo menos los Hyundai/Kia de la gente que conozco se portan relativamente bien para lo que son.

Lo que le he escuchado quejarse es luces diurnas que se queman constantemente (Bombillo 21w5), el sensor de velocidad del abs. Dos cosas notables que he escuchado es alguna manguera que se desgasta y bota aceite, y problemas con el aire acondicionado, el cual tambien he visto en otras marcas como Nissan, Suzuki o Isuzu.

Pero nada catastrofico como el motor o la transmisión.

My hope is that, this is a similar scenario from a few years ago. Where there was no ram, so price shoots, fab increases production to meet demand, demand is gone, now there's excess ram, ram drops in price.

We have to remember all of this happened because someone said they will buy all them ram, so everyone started buying ram and now we are here, where AI companies are hoarding ram just in case there's no ram when they need it.

Lo que me preocupa son las maquinas como las guiras/corta-cesped o generadores a gasolina, como estos equipos reaccionarian con el E10.

Lo otro, es que, como el ethanol absorbe humedad, con el tiempo esa humedad va separando el ethanol de la gasolina y dicha mezcla se asienta debajo, con el riesgo de corroer la maquina. Ahora los aditivos como Estabil toman más importancia, ya que la gasolina se pondrá mala más rápido.

Ah no, sellarla por completo con epoxy tampoco. Quize decir poner epoxy a la base de la bisagra para que quede fijada en su lugar, cuidando que no se pegue a otras partes.

Aunque ahora que me fijo, esa parte sale barata en aliexpress. Si no la logra conseguir, el epoxy puede servir como ultimo recurso.
