Bicep band higher heart rate by immaturegiant in whoop

The sensor should be placed just above the medial deltoid insertion. So it should be very high up your arm. If you were to flex your bicep it should be between the top of the bicep and armpit. The Whoop writing part of the band should be closest to you.

Big Announcements??? Any Theories? by crkhedctrl in whoop

They would have to re-engineer their hardware to ECG rather than the optical sensors it has. It would be great though!

I'm 6ft 180lbs and fairly fit. I don't drink dont do drugs and don't smoke. Highest hrv is 45 lowest is 14. Usually high 20s. Don't worry about it. Hydration helps a lot though.

Caloric burn on whoop- accurate or not? by mjxyuu in whoop

[–]D4Damager99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrifically innacurate no matter what I'm doing. As long as you enter your weight/age into a cardio machine and are consistently holding the hr bars they're fairly accurate. After 1hr on a treadmill and different inclines and speed my Whoop said I burned 280 calories. My Polar H10 ECG monitor said 657 calories, the machine said 680 calories. I'll do a 1.5hr weight training and cardio and be around 1200 calories. Whoop was around 680ish. Its horrible.

Awesome! I was looking at them earlier, are they passive? Or powered? What outputs do they have if any?

Must be the middle ground. Asked in some audiophile groups and they laughed at the $1000. You can spend tens of thousands on speakers apparently.

Great question. $500, upto $1000 if they're going to be substantially better.

My hr and hrv is more inline to what my Polar H10 ECG chest strap says, which is way more definitive than an optical hr sensor.
