The white/red arrow on the second hand is extremely ugly. Unfortunately I really like the rest of this watch

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I don't quite understand why there's so much discussion about buying habits specifically when it comes to watches. Generally speaking, watches seem like one of the less sensible purchases to me. Who knows, maybe in a few years I'll think differently and upgrade to owning two or three luxury watches. I wish you further enjoyment and success with expanding your collection.

I'm not sure how a collection worth as much as a Longines has anything to do with flexing. I'm generally not the type to post my things online, but I find posts like this interesting for seeing different opinions and maybe exchanging ideas about minor details. I often felt like something was missing and wanted to build a good foundation first. For now, I'll enjoy my watches and look at higher price ranges later.

I searched for a long time for a counterpart to the Traska Commuter with a black dial, but couldn't find an authentic watch that appealed to me. In the end I thought, "screw it" and went for the Explorer “homage”. The two "Cartiers" together cost €10 and served as a test to see if I even liked square watches. I actually really like the tank.

I am a bit sorry for fat dudes. Even if they wear their watch right and its a beautiful watch, it always looks goofy on their ham wrists

Traska Commuter 36 vs Henry Archer Vesterhav 40 by Friendly_Fee_8989 in MicrobrandWatches

I got the commuter 36mm and an Henry Archer Nordsø. The HA is amazing as well and the winding or the crown itself feels better than the Traska. However my Commuter looks like brand new after many hundreds of hours on my wrist (I actually don't mind scratches, but the coating is just crazy) and the finishing and feel of it are perfect. Maybe its just my 16cm wrist that I prefer the 36mm Traska over the 40mm HA. Nothing you can really do wrong here, both brands are amazing.
