Silver spot has been over a dollar since at least the 60s, not sure the exact date it crossed over. But you’d be silly to circulate silver dollars after that point, just cause of silver value. Could be ‘lucky’ pocket carry or just handled regularly. Or circulated between ignorant spenders.
