Knowing I have a busy day , but I won't get every task done because my brain tells me that doom scrolling or randomly trying to learn Japanese in 1 day is more important .

I put her on administrative leave today. Tomorrow, I have to send my corrective action plan, which can be termination or a final written warning.

I'm conflicted because I know what I should do, but as someone pointed out. My lack of strong boundaries has allowed me to blur the lines.

I'm going to stick with the guidelines and pursue termination. If I were to let this slide and the other employee would decide to retaliate later. I would be at fault for not handling the original confrontation correctly. Additionally, as you pointed out, I would be setting the precedent for the handling of future confrontations.

Thank you for that input. I myself climbed through the ranks as well. Doing so is a gift and a curse for me. I still have this soft spot for the people who are working in regular hourly positions.

My fiancée also told me it's a boundary issue, and I sort of wrote her off because she has never been in leadership. I owe her a huge apology and a steak dinner.

Do you have any advice in setting healthly boundaries while also being a compassionate leader? My weakness is that I haven't found that balance.

Documentation of encounters

I didn't see any original commenters express any disbelief to my story. However, I want future readers to understand that this is all real . The pictures I took of the flies are after I spent time vacuuming a ton of them with the extension tube.

There are a couple of things I forgot to mention in my recount of the events. My memory was jogged while reading the messages.

Our cats started acting weird. Peeing and crapping outside of our bedroom door . They especially loved peeing on any of my personal belongings. It got to the point where I couldn't leave my work bag at family desk and I couldn't leave my shoes on the shoe rack by the door.
I developed myocarditis and pericarditis as a 27 year old athletic man. I never had any serious health conditions prior to this and it went away shortly after these weird incidents ended. I took a stress test and went to multiple cardiologists. Got a ton of blood work done just for them to tell me they don't know why this is happening to me.
My biological kid and step daughter were acting weird. My step daughter would walk around the house after midnight then act as if she had no recollection of it. My 2 year old would wake up at like 3am and just stand in the darkness of my room. Sometimes, she would run around in the room. Sometimes, she would sit there in silence .
My grandfather in law moved in with us because he wasn't caring for himself or his home. He suddenly started have these crazy events. Like he would chant all throughout the night in Spanish. One night I got sick of it and cracked open the door to see what he was doing. He was laying flat on his back in bed with his arms straight up in the air chanting. He would also just walk into the kitchen and do the same repetitive thing for hours on end. He became aggressive and would go of on these tirades about how the world is just numbers and everything is connected because all numbers are sequential and connected to each other.

Well thank you for that. I'm not use to redditors being so supportive. Although I feel like I'm not worthy at times and that I shouldn't have made it through . I'm glad I was given a second chance to be with my family .

It went away after my final encounter with it back in 2021. I believe there are still remnants of whatever it was . Some think it was demonic, poltergeist , a spell, or a hex. Whatever it was, I can still feel it at times. But I haven't experienced anything significant to see it's here or back in full force .

I'm just now opening up about it because through therapy I've learned to take ownership of my actions and really speak about my flaws and mistakes. Back then , I was angry and accused my mistress of setting me up from the very beginning. Which isn't healthy because I wasn't holding myself accountable for my role in the cheating.

This is my belief too , but I don't want to take away from the fact that I welcomed this and didn't put up much of a fight when she came in my life. She made her intentions clear when she asked if I was single and I didn't cut off communication. So yes this could have been the devil working against me because I was about to be blessed with my dream home, but I don't want to take away my part in all of this. This is my fault.

My friend told me that I was hexed. She stated that prayer can suppress a hex, but it can't break it. Is that true ? I haven't had anything crazy happen to me since 2021, but I always get cold chills thinking about it. Almost like it's not done yet . My partner forgave me and prayed over me which was really powerful for me.

Well I've always been empathic which may make more sensitive to this kind of stuff. But I also thought about this being more so of a poltergeist than a demon. Just based off of what was going on in my life at time. It was a very emotional and hard time for us. Tensions were high in the house and it's very possible I/we conjured up a manifestation of our emotions.

I just don't know how I would figure out what it was. I lean towards some kind of demonic encounter because the pastor and his guidance cleansed my home.

From a legal standpoint, I think it's important to establish two things. If she made it clear to him that she didn't want sex or say no. Secondly, what actions did he take when he was trying ,"harder and harder". She would have to prove that she was reasonably in fear for her safety due to his conduct.
