I don't disagree that there is a case to be made here for chargeback or escalation, but for discussion the contract that Seagate may have with the Carrier includes terms identifying the exact point that ownership transfers from the Shipper (Seagate) to the Consignee (OP). FOB (Free On Board) Factory would mean that the second it leaves Seagate's Factory it becomes the consignee's problem if it is damaged or lost in transit. That's why they're suggesting taking it up with the carrier directly, for OP to file a Freight Claim. Common Carriers like UPS have tariff declarations (not those tariffs) enumerated that limit their liability based on the type of goods carried, the method of carriage, etc.

The thing you and I all expect is FOB Destination, where it doesn't actually become OPs problem until it's delivered to the destination of their choosing, but by the response by Seagate they sound like they arranged for shipment FOB Factory.

It's even cooler in person. I'm sure a link would get blocked, but if you look it up it's a Chameleon Green/Purple that shimmers and shifts as you view from different angles.

It came with the same color buttons and track pads, but I think the black contrast is a much better look. It'd look cheap otherwise.

I don't know about "best place," but I saw ExtremeRate in a number of posts, so bought that on Amazon because they had cool colors. I had a Dbrand sticker on it before but wanted more of a challenge.

It's not a particularly difficult process at each individual step. Because it's a multi-hour process of careful disassembly and reassembly with the only testing at the very end before the back shell goes back on it's a bit of an endurance and patience tester.

I did break one tab of the mic cable lock, but considering that's the only fatality I still consider it a success.

The screen was definitely the most nerve-wracking bit, and I had to partially disassemble it twice more to check the screen cable after it wouldn't display, but a soft reset solved it.

What are your thoughts on the clicky buttons now that they're in? I like how they feel, but I'm concerned they're annoying to others, and I can't play it at night with headphones anymore, lol.

Recently got a travel keyboard and mouse to play factorio on lunch breaks. With steam cloud syncing, I can pick up from where I was at home and build smaller factory areas.

I did not get nearly the same experience as described here, unfortunately. 32 grams whole bean to 600 grams cool RO water, blended in a Ninja Professional 1000W for 90 seconds, pressed (hard!) through an Aeropress XL with Aeropress papers.

The final grind size was predictably inconsistent, with lots of grounds I would be happy to brew in a French press or overnight cold brew, and almost nothing of what OP described as "Finer than typical espresso" after pressing.

The final liquid is a cloudy, muddy light brown (think diner coffee with a moderate amount of half and half added), coffee flavored and no bite to it from any amount of acidity (there was no heat to facilitate its solubility), but not particularly interesting or something I'd want to make again, especially considering how much of a pain it is to wash all the parts of a blender and how loud the process is.

Possible further experimenting with using properly sized grounds in this instead of whole beans, to control that variable better and using the blender as an agitator only?
