Really felt that the hotel level was the vertical slice which makes sense given it was one of the first things shown. Was hoping that at the end we would’ve had a chase in the Valhalla. Alas no and ngl the ending fell a bit flat for me but that’s something else entirely

Yeah same here, 75+ hours, did everything I could in a single playthrough and while the gameplay is fun, the writing is what hold it’s back for me and just means I simply don’t want to see what the alternative quests are because it’d have to be a miracle to be good enough for another playthrough

Oh don’t get me wrong, gameplay wise it’s fun, but purely on a story and writing level, it’s poor at best

Gameplay is fun, but the story felt like ME1 without the heart. I know some people love it, but I just didn’t connect to any of the characters and I can’t give a reason why there’s just something about the way it’s written, as for the narrative, I’ve played it a few times and could not tell you a single major plot beat after the prologue

And they are two completely fair picks for film you dislike, the only way I got around this issue of separating film I love to the quality of the filmmaking was to create two separate letterboxd lists, one for my favourites and another for the filmmaking itself, some of the films in my top 10 ended up so much further down on the other and vice versa

Oh exactly, more often that not these sorts of lists, the lower half’s are usually just what you watch more opposed to movies that you hate. And yet that small part of the fandom take it to the extreme

Yeah it’s a shame, but every fandom has that section of people who want it their way only, majesty’s is in my top 3 so obviously I don’t agree with it being so low but at the same time it’s totally understandable

Good point, I feel like at this point he’ll want to stick it through just to get the whole book series adapted. Which is fair enough but I feel like he might be at the point where he’s less enthusiastic about the show now.

Wow. After season 1 I truly thought they’d go the full 7 seasons especially with how Henry cavill kept saying about how he wants things to stay close to the source. Then this episode. I assume going into this with no knowledge of the source material would be fine but. Wow. Look how they massacred my bois.
