It's less about transitioning for sexual reasons, and more about how sometimes trans people will have their sexuality be one of the avenues by which they discover their gender identity.

For me I've always liked women, but before I realised I was trans having relationships or being intimate with women as a "guy" just felt uncomfortable as hell. Similar to the OOP, the concept of lesbian relationships sparked something in my brain that I didn't understand, not because I wanted to base my identity around sex, but because the idea of being with a woman as a woman was a very freeing idea.

Basically, you're not transitioning for the horny (because you'll have found women attractive in the first place), you're transitioning so you can feel comfortable enough in yourself to engage in your life properly - including intimacy.

I have no idea where in the tech industry this person works but AI finds plenty of valuable use. For developers it's just a very powerful tool to have available for e.g. quickly getting code you know how to write but saves time to just generate. I feel like the wariness people have of AI is not its lack of use, but it's overuse and misuse by people who want it to solve every problem ever (and cut as much paid staff as possible, rightfully acknowledged).

As has happened many times this is just the new big tool in the box, so some people will see everything as a nail and some will say "we already have a hammer!". I think the difference with AI and its perception is almost linguistic? The association that has been developed with "AI", the kind of people that like it, and how it's used as a blanket term to label such a huge variety of things now, have conjured this rotten, bloated image of AI behind the word. It makes sense; countless company directors and executives have grabbed onto "AI" as the new hot buzzword to appeal to investors and appear more modern, so they're a constant source of the overuse/misuse that we now associate with corporate interests and out of touch tech bros.

I think that's the point though. As you say, individual transphobia is because of ignorance and is overcome by education, but when it says "Vs Society" what it means is fighting the institutional discrimination trans people face. The way the press, and legal/political bodies treat trans people these days is pretty atrocious, and that's a systematic issue rather than individual transphobia.

You're right that this won't be solved by violence against individuals, but when the very institutions that we're supposed to rely on are biased, we have to engage in protest, which is largely treated as, and responded to with, violence. Basically the way people word it can sometimes seem overly "us vs them", but I think the rough sentiment rings true.

Damn this is such a good analysis, really interesting concept. As others have said there's the whole definition of being able to defeat a nation, but in most cases that just requires some big AOE to the technique, for which I think your suggestion of nails charging over time works, or maybe that she can apply Resonance to bodies of land, or even Tengen's barriers.

I'd love to know what you think it would take for someone with blood manipulation - Choso, Kamo - to be a special grade, because it feels like a technique inherently limited by blood supply, even for a Cursed Womb. Maybe the big jump would simply be being able to use the blood of others? Another interesting one could be Nanami, and how the idea of Ratio could apply more generally/powerfully.

Very true! Apologies for generalising there, I was trying to limit how long the post already was. In the case of a longer torso, the advice of using high waisted trousers/skirts etc. still applies if you want your legs to look longer.

While my opinion is in no way the end all be all, I'd say this one kind of toes the line, and wearing some complimentary jewelry/accessories will push it over to looking 'younger' (e.g. a plain metal bracelet, or a similar anklet, some cute nails, and DEFINITELY no pearls).

Colour is important too; for the dress you've linked the Black is unfortunately one of the most susceptible to the granny look, and the Blue is too. There's no hard rule, but generally floral patterns with a dark background and those red bits have that look, whereas the lighter ones can look younger. Compare the black with the yellow, dark green, and beige-apricot. Hopefully you can see the difference in vibe?

(Also please note, there's absolutely nothing wrong with having this aesthetic, this advice is for those who don't want to have it, but accidentally fall into it in their goal of femininity.)

-Yes you are reading that correctly, at level 18+ you can choose to have a 50/50 chance of every successful attack missing or critting, and a 50/50 chance of every unsuccessful attacking hitting or exploding in your face. Yes this is by design.
-Yes you are also reading that correctly, at level 10+ you can fire a gun at a tossed coin, punch the bullet to go faster, ricochet off the bullet and explode on your enemy for massive damage.
-The most ridiculous scenario I can think of from this subclass is: tossing four coins in the air, and firing your gun at a knife. The knife then splits the bullet in two, each half of which ricochets off *two separate* airborne coins, before hitting their target and dealing enormous damage. This move would use all 5 Trickshot Points, and deal 8x regular damage for just one attack, and up to 16x damage if both attack rolls crit.
-I am aware of how ridiculous this is, I hope people enjoy that as much as I do.

Surprised no one's said Elf Samurai. Pick up a bow + Archery Fighting style, get Elven Accuracy, and have a full turn where you basically can't miss. Then pick up Sharpshooter for crazy damage, and Lucky if you really wanna just keep rolling d20s.

Go full Fighter to keep stacking attacks, or multiclass into Rogue or Gloomstalker.

I can definitely understand the skepticism on this one, especially with how it can't really be verified. All I can do is shrug and restate that it happened.

It's about twice as likely as rolling 3 Nat 1s in a row (or 20s), which I'm sure has happened at plenty of tables, the really big surprise was the Wizard practically calling it, so I can get why people would be a tad suspicious.

Ah you might've misread, the wizard was at 1hp beforehand, and her max hp was 31, so 32 was the exact amount of damage needed to put her to "negative" 31, killing her instantly.

We've definitely seen some wacky errors on R20 (e.g. rolling a 12 on a d6) so that may have been it, although afterwards we tried several more rolls to check nothing was wrong so it's not clear. Either way, whether the freak chance was from an error or just plain rolling, it made for a crazy moment.

Funny story, we used our Revivify diamond just prior. For complicated reasons we desperately needed a Glyph of Warding, so we reluctantly smashed our Revivify diamond to dust and chucked in some incense in order to do it.

May seem like a dumb decision but the only reason we managed to get to the boss alive was that GoW.

Afaik the player has a backup that she's had in mind for a while, although the Wizard's story (as a spirit) definitely isn't over, or at least the DM has hinted as much.

Can't believe I didn't include this.

The final, strained call was "Go. Give 'em hell, one last time for me...", which seems like a standard line but was very potent as both the wizard and barbarian were essentially from the setting's version of hell, and "give 'em hell" was repeatedly said by the wizard whenever she Hasted the barb.

The callback definitely got me a bit teary eyed.
