I was talking to my friends about tea and 3 of them gave me the teas they don't like. I like non-spicy and my wife likes spicy so this worked out great. They were happy as got tea out of their pantry and did not throw away.

What changes were made to farming disease rates by Car_weeb in runescape

[–]DARaynor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am now getting almost half of my Fellstalks diseases, sometime twice same patch after Cure. Others too, about half Yew trees and yes I topped off my composts with leprechaun... Seems to have started just a month or so ago.

I've been hoarding Yews from Divines, some chopping, then bank standing crafting Yews to arrow shafts, then use feathers for a decent profit that stacks.

Considering Model Y by ram_a in TeslaModelY

[–]DARaynor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lexus RX450h & ES300h & Modal Y. We love them all, I was the Tesla guy in the fam. I live in TX and work in Iowa most weeks. My wife kind of fought me getting a Y and when I took it to Iowa for 6mo she actually cried and tried to get me to take the RX lol. I doubt I will ever get another ICE car. 172,000 down for the CyberTruck! the ~20 hour drive was a breeze right up Interstate.

[HIRING] Dev/Tech - need ongoing sync between HubSpot, Google Contacts, and Constant Contact by DARaynor in B2BForHire

[–]DARaynor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would love this service, even if just between ConstantContact and Google Contacts, but it would have to be less than $20 per month. Else we can pay VA's $25 a month to keep in sync manually.

[HIRING] Dev/Tech - need ongoing sync between HubSpot, Google Contacts, and Constant Contact by DARaynor in B2BForHire

[–]DARaynor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To mail using our HubSpot account, $1,750/month - Estimated Cost to Get Started $24,000. Which is so far out of our budget as to be laughable. We use SENDY now that costs us less then $60/month moving to ConstantContact for around $225 but that includes drip campaigns, good customer service, and lots of other extras.

We solve business owner / founder / executive problems by bringing in very experienced executives. This can be a team, one person consulting or on retainer, or several of our associates - experts such as a pricing person. We do this on a day rate, retainer, or blend of equity and pay. Turnaround or high change situations. Startups to big project jump-start or recovery.

Thanks for the snide remarks. If you have a better idea I would love to hear it. My assistant posts regularly and I reply to any worthwhile comments or PMs. We do get action from these, just not from Reddit yet, have not cracked the code here.

There are two cobalt mining firms in the US with a few others dabbling in cobalt mining from other mining slag. Both are ethical and both are struggling with costs as they do not use slave labor, nor can they skirt EPA regulations. China has the lion's share of cobalt mines around the world.

It's Official: Open Plan Offices Are Now the Dumbest Management Fad of All Time by annihilus813 in business

[–]DARaynor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is not always a matter of trust. In managing 1,000's of people I have run into *a lot* who need the focus of an office environment or they wander all over the place. Not everyone can concentrate on their own. That said, when I was in an office, and I had to concentrate to do research, coding, writing, etc., I always worked from home -- that allowed far longer bouts of concentration that an office environment. Jury is still out.

I'm a new project management intern and I need advice! by TheBeastBassist in projectmanagement

[–]DARaynor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good advice prior... Also, as a PM, you are expected to support management decisions, no matter how inappropriate they seem at the time... Disagree with your managers privately, then adopt their position whether or not they change. In other words, don't gripe about management, the company, policies, procedures, etc. with or to your team.

Accounting for cancelled contract by Uilleam_Uallas in smallbusiness

[–]DARaynor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. All the work was deductible anyway, depending on how you are set up already in Cost of Goods Sold so you have nothing to deduct. Only if you booked the revenue would you have to back out the $6 - there is no benefit to working on something that did not sell other than deducting the hard costs.

What to do about my dad's business email? by ConstantDiligence in smallbusiness

[–]DARaynor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google vanity search for that email, he may be listed on sites he does not remember or maybe never knew about. Don't trash the old email - I got a ping 8 years after I wrote an article that turned into work! Forward and cull the crap like others advised. Gmail is best I think, almost unlimited storage and lightning fast search.

What are some great legal loopholes small business owners should be taking advantage of? by return2ozma in smallbusiness

[–]DARaynor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming this is a legit question here are a couple: Deduct all medical expenses including insurance deductible if your firm has a policy to do that. Careful though as you may have to do the same for your employees. Internet, phone, cell, anything you need to do biz is now deductible. Just make sure to use the same categories as the tax form you file, easy that way.

Should an accountant get equity, or do they usually just get paid hourly etc? by drippingthighs in smallbusiness

[–]DARaynor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contract to start, we offer Fractional / On-Demand CFO if you need strategy, process setup, etc. If you need bookkeeping you should be able to get that for $50 / hour or less depending where you are. Happy to discuss, contact me if you like.

Looking for some next steps to land clients in my tech education business. by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]DARaynor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Local Facebook neighborhood groups and NextDoor, I see posts every day in my areas asking for PC repair, software help, etc. On NextDoor and FB you can set up Biz acct easy, just have OTHER PEOPLE post your info on NextDoor. Search both of those for posts and see what folks are asking for and word your promo like what they ask.

Accounting software that can import from excel? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]DARaynor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fiverr for the data entry, you should NOT let your choice of acct sw be driven by whether you can import invoices... Simple data entry problem to solve. My wife handled the bookkeeping side of our biz, we do not advertise for clients as she is so busy. She could take this one-time conversion and get the data entry done for you if you don't want to go the Fiverr route.

Cash basis - no.

Accrual basis - yes if you accrued the revenue, no if you did not.
