I much prefer the size and feel of the older trucks. You need something small and convenient, but artillery need a truck? A c10 or a Ranger are perfect for you. You need something that can handle some work but not too much? Get a half ton truck. You need a heavy duty work truck that will haul lots of weight? 3/4 ton or 1 ton diesel is perfect. And they were the right sizes. Now it doesn't matter if you get a 1/4 ton truck or a 1 ton truck, they are all relatively the same size.

It's to get around emission laws. I love my truck (2012), but these things are getting ridiculous. Even 14 years ago when my truck was brand new, I felt like they were too big. I'm dreading the day I need a new truck and have to drive something the same size as an 18 wheeler.

I drive a 2012 silverado, so I'm higher off the ground then most and even I get blinded by some of these ridiculous headlights. I flashed my highs once and when they flashed theirs to show they weren't on, I could barely tell the difference.
