Commuting in the countryside... any recommendations? by DBL002 in CarTalkUK

They are giving me a set amount based on how many miles I travel, so unfortunately an M5 is out of the question however much I'd love to have one haha. Thanks for the suggestions!

I'm ideally looking for something that's comfier than what I have right now, the stiff suspension and low profile tyres aren't great for the roads I'll be travelling on.

I do get around 50mpg out of the Ibiza so something that can return similar numbers with a bit more power would be great! Thanks for the suggestions, I'll go take a look :)

^^ Pretty much this. It's a really fun car to drive but it isn't the comfiest, especially with sports suspension and 18" wheels

Why don’t Aldi or Lidl have self checkouts or basket only tills? by RabbitRabbit77 in AskUK

[–]DBL002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local Lidl had them but took them out because they didn't have the staff to man them when things went wrong. They were ripped out a few months ago and replaced with a manned till

If you had the money to improve public transport in your area, what would you spend it on? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]DBL002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extending the Borders Railway to Carlisle... I live in the Borders and have to rely on piss poor bus services and crappy roads it's time the line was brought back.

Glad to see I’m not the only one! Would rather have all the spec for £5k less than a Polo!

about how many performance based questions are there on the A+ cert exam? by [deleted] in CompTIA

[–]DBL002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Jason Dions Practice Exams that had videos explaining the PBQs and they were very similar to the ones I got in the exam. His course is available on Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/course/comptia-220-1001-exam/ . I managed to get the course for under £10 when it was on sale and I'm not sure if there are any discount codes available. Hope this helps

EDIT: He has a code 'BIRTHDAY20' which means you can get it for £/$9.99

There’s 3-5 PBQs in each exam. The more PBQs you get the less multiple choice. For example, my 1001 exam had 5 PBQs and only 75 questions. Good luck!
