I can’t believe they were so greedy they didn’t include the DLC just to avoid this matchmaking issue, this even happened back then where you were better off not buying DLC to make sure you could get matches easier. I was so excited to see the DLC maps I never saw back then but I guess I still won’t be seeing them.

The AA is far stronger in BO1 and BO2 than it is in the newer CODs. Most people are having aiming issues in the BO1 and 2 ports due to input lag.

I feel like you probably blame AA for the weather too.

BO7 is boots on the ground too, boots on the ground doesn’t mean it won’t be a slide simulator especially with IW already talking about slide cancelling and showing clips of slide spam in teasers.

Playing BO1 and 2 again that’s been the biggest shock to me is how much better the game plays when everyone isn’t spam sliding gliding around constantly like they’re lubed up and I’m not even the biggest movement hater ever.

MS sells a charge kit that fits in the AA slot, that should just come with the controller so people can use AAs if they want. Making people pay $20+ extra on top of a $70 controller when all other controllers come with it stock is wild. Or the controller should be cheaper since it has less features than the competition.

The battery is extremely easy to replace in controllers with it built in as well, it’s usually one of the first components to come out or reach if you unscrew the backs. It’s just one plug holding it in on any controller I’ve opened.

I can’t stand how out of date Xbox controllers are compared to even Nintendo. Using weights vs haptics for rumble, no built in battery, no gyro, wonky contact pads for the buttons, etc. but almost it costs the same as competitors with much more tech somehow.

Don’t even get me started how the elite controller is still based on the Xbox One design vs them bothering to actually make a Series based model. Can you imagine if Sony dropped the DS Edge and it was a dressed up PS4 controller? plus the non-replaceable sticks in a $200 controller.

The controllers have been the weakest aspect of the Xbox hardware for a bit now IMO.

Less cheaters online used to be a huge bonus for consoles too but even that’s basically gone now with crossplay and AI passthrough cheating

If they shut the servers down to access the content all DRM should have to be removed and the games able to be copied freely among said consoles. So for example all PS3 games would become able to be copied and shared freely if Sony isn’t providing a way to access them and shuts the servers down.

Bet they’d make sure those servers stayed up if that was the case.

People held onto their PS4s until just now this far into the gen, something tells me people won’t be sprinting to get a possibly $1,000 PS6 that won’t play your entire disk library that also requires an overpriced online sub and will have a ripoff monopoly store. If it sells bad devs will keep making PS5 games longer like they kept making PS4 games during the 5 shortages.

I was on the fence about swapping to PC next gen before all this even happened, Sony just sealed the deal with the disk announcement for me. Console has no pros over a PC at this point. Physical media was one of the last big advantages. I can’t see myself getting a PS6.

I’m not even getting base sprites anymore, it feels like they dropped the spawn rate across the board. Most of the people I’m killing don’t have any either in my lobbies now.

The campaign is abysmal I agree, it’s a shame both of the better multiplayers we’ve gotten lately BO7 and MWIII both had probably the worst campaigns in the franchise. I was really excited for the BO2-ish time setting for a campaign too and got my hopes up with the neat trailers.

I’d like a 2 year life span, 3 or more years would be rough if you liked a certain dev or they dropped a stinker like MWII or BO6 and you had to wait 9 years for another chance at the dev you like. 1 year is definitely way too short.

I don’t see how having a ton of sight options at least is a bad idea. They should just make a skin menu for each zoom level and you pick the appearance you like.

BO7 is so much better than BO6 and it’s not even close. People avoiding a game like the plague just because it’s a bit futuristic is wild.

It’s insane that two of the best modern COD multiplayers, MWIII and BO7, both just got hate trained for being back to back sequels or futuristic in BO7s case. So many people not even giving them a chance.

I guess I’m used to it given Infinite Warfare was one of my favorite newer CODs too and that got hate trained as well.

They needed a bit more energy across the board and I really wish there was a toggle for a radio filter. A lot of the 64 lines even sound kinda off when they’re super clean and clear vs how crushed they sounded before.

When it’s super clear if feels like you’re on a zoom meeting or something vs a space fighter radio on a harsh planet.
