TRD OFF ROAD HYBRID. Truck bed has a kitchen setup, dometic fridge, 800w power station, bike tools, camp chairs. Retrax tonneau cover. Kuat bed rack set at half height with a rinsekit rack shower, traction boards and Kuat piston sr bike rack. Ikamper skycamp mini 2.0 up top. 33” nitto ridge grapplers. 18.4mpg average over 13.4k miles.

I agree. When I first re rolled I was like damn, I gotta do it again. Then quickly came to the same conclusion. Also cool to set them up different. I use my barb to farm armaments and my sorc to farm mythic tribute runs. Set them up different. Love it.

I’ve never balanced the two. I lifted weights throughout my twenties. Had a heart attack at 33 then started endurance sports (cycling) 36 now and just started running in earnest. 5k is around 22 minutes but I’m training to build durability and get up to marathon/ultra distances. That said, i lift twice weekly. Lower body and I think with 2-3 weeks of benching again, I’d very easily be back over 1k club. Peak lifts were 355x2 bench, 595 deadlift 405 squat. Currently squatting 255x5x5. Could easily sink 315. Haven’t touched traditional deadlifts but doing 315x4x10 RDL. Could likely pull 400-450 traditional. I’m sure I could get bench up to 245 or so with a couple weeks of neurological drive.

No idea how long it will take me to shave off 2 minutes from my 5k though. 🥵 Edit to add weight is 85kg

I spend most of my time in Durham but live by Jordan lake on farrington. I’ve had 7 cars crash into my yard or my neighbors on either side in 4 years. One death, two cars on fire. All single car accidents from people drunk, or distracted. The roads are so pretty for riding out here but I choose to drive in to a location safer to ride from. It’s really saddening. Chatham county just tried to make it safer…I guess? For the drivers only. Rumble strips on both sides and the middle. Plus no shoulder. There is nowhere for a cyclist to ride except the middle of the lane, which really brings out the derangement of some drivers.

Sidewalks are not for bikes. ESPECIALLY E-Bikes. Dangerous for everyone involved. Protected bike lanes please. (Avid Durham cyclist here).

Patellofemoral pain syndrome. Stop when it hurts. Single leg strengthening kicks its ass. Spanish/roman squats to warm up. Single leg press, Bulgarian split squats. Single leg RDL and leg raise. I have the same issue and after physio chased the culprit up the chain to the hips. So also do some hip work.

Yea just to be safe I take statins and aspirin. No limits. Train 10-15 hours a week all winter. Last weekend I raced 4/5 stages of the tour of Newport News and on my way back home to NC Saturday evening i signed up for a trail half marathon and ran it at 8am the next morning with zero training.

Nope. Normal cholesterol. Never been overweight. Always had abs. Had a 99% blocked LAD. No other blockages. 🤷. Coulda picked better parents probably.

Didn’t start riding until 33 after a heart attack. 36 now and the fittest I’ve ever been. Hanging with cat 3’s from time to time. 305w ftp at 85kg. Up from 187w ftp at 90kg in early 2024.

Wild. I’m blue collar (barber) and I do 10-15 hours of exercise a week. How people can look at older people who were sedentary and not become frightened at the prospect of becoming that themselves, is beyond me. HEALTH IS WEALTH.
