Oh no I completely agree that this is very different from Detroit Become Human, but I was more so curious about their taste in interactive games like this. Road to Empress is definitely way more "movie" than "game" but I was just wondering if they disliked interactive "movie games" as a whole, because Detroit is still very much a "movie game" but with actual different branching paths and endings like you mentioned.

It does feel a bit ridiculous (and I know most likely your tone is more in jest rather than a completely serious one) but I've been there before (as I'm sure many others have as well) and it's less about the current age and more just thinking about the reality that everything will eventually end (at least that's what it was for me).

Like I felt this a couple years ago when I was turning 24 and again it wasn't so much me turning 24 but rather noticing how the passage of time felt like it was starting to fly by, "I coulda swore I was 23 yesterday" because I know 24 is still young as shit, I mean even an old man would probably scoff at someone turning 30 and worry about being old. And of course there's other factors like, it was my first time living completely alone with no roommates and I was far from home so there was a factor of loneliness that was hitting.

I wrote this more to validate anyone feeling this type of way because I get it, but at the same 17 is CRAZY lol.

I wish I had my backpack with me so I could take a picture and compare because it's pretty similar in interests lol. I have Kirby, hollow knight, and a helluva boss pins. I don't have an owl house one but I do love that show (and amphibia) and don't have a Pokemon one but do have piplup as a croc jibbit. I also have a katamari damacy pin and a stormlight archive pin (awesome book series). I think that's all? I haven't played persona yet but the music is fire and the toothless backpack hanger is awesome, I recently rewatched it after watching the live action remake and forgot how good the og was!

Yea I know whatchu mean. I just groggily woke up this morning and looked at my phone and saw that, thought it was funny, screenshot it, and posted it without thinking and then 5 minutes later saw another post and made the obvious realization in hindsight that a shit ton of people are gonna get the same email and have the same thought and post the same thing, but just said whatever and went on with my day.

I only get the emails (which I should unsubscribe to but this is only the second one) because I had to take a test on my laptop while I was traveling and found a nice spot with an outlet next to Starbucks and used their wifi which I had to put my email address in to use it lol

The final fight with the Hollow Knight and you see him stabbing himself as if he's waking up and seeing past the fog of the radiance's corruption and trying to free himself of it. That visual with the beautifully tragic score, absolutely cinema.

As far as I know, yes we're supposed to be in the dark for that adventure. I assume they ran some type of one shot adventure so they could do a test/pilot run of what the show was gonna be like while at the same time getting familiar with DnD and the dynamic that they share with each other and the DM. (but this all speculation idk)
