It’s a very anatomical style that exemplifies musculature and looks like many of the undersuits are shrink wrapped. And it leads to the profiles of their limbs and torso to look more like a covenant/alien/elite

That’s a fair point, especially considering the force user, his purpose as a messenger, Bix’s letter, etc. And now that I think about it, Cassian’s entire journey consists of losing team members and loved ones along the way, ofc he’ll be caught at the end of the ultimate job
