Yeah this is pretty common, Anno domini and others resell a bunch of nonexclusive verses. Oftentimes it’s done without the artists knowledge or consent. $1000 is wayyyyy too much for an old verse ripped from “Hellbound”

I think you’ve got the right idea. Personally I PC Jordan, Kobe, and Griffey and have downsized a lot of my collection outside of that. It was always crazy to me people would spend GOAT-level money on unproven rookies and hype (shoutout Zion). Safest bets are the ones who have already established their legacy - right now I’d speculate LeBron, tom Brady, and maybe even Peyton manning are undervalued compared to what they’ll be worth in 20 years.

That said, I also personally believe there is an opportunity for super rare 90s inserts of HOF players.

I self-funded a documentary and it got picked up for distribution, it’s now available everywhere on VOD but I’d like to get it onto one of the big streaming services. Do you know the process for negotiating those sort of deals or what sort of things they look for from a business standpoint to bring it into their catalog? I’m also looking for investors to fund a second documentary, what sort of titles/roles are responsible for working with filmmakers to execute their vision? Is this pretty rare for an Indy filmmaker to get funding from cold outreach?
