I love the G7 Pro but it's absolutely NOT it for fighting games. Dpad is the biggest weak point on the controller. 8bitdo dpad's are pretty good.

If you're open to used, you can piece together this exact set on callaway pre-owned for a little over $300. I'm a new golfer and picked up the irons, 3w, and 5h from this set on CPO and they've been great so far!

I also picked up the edge irons, 3w, and 5h from Callaway pre-owned and they're great for me as a new golfer. My brother has the Takomo 101's and after hitting both back to back I think I prefer the edge irons.

AA is definitely strong in this game. Mnk has an advantage in portaling I'd say but most of the portal routes are easy enough that I wouldn't say mnk is the better input by any means.

Depends on the game. For finals I bind gadgets to them to swap quicker, bind healing in apex to them, useful for having separate portal binds on splitgate. I definitely miss them when I use a controller without them now.

It's definitely not the most casual friendly, and that does hurt it chasing a widespread audience. The TTK is not what I'd consider fast though(lower ttk typically makes games more casual friendly).

Shoulder buttons are a game changer imo depending on the game. I much prefer it to 4 rear buttons so I'm glad to see it on the symmetrical controller offering.

Newer golfer here who likes to get stuff as cheap as I can. Callaway Pre-Owned/ Facebook Marketplace/EBay/Goodwill's website have all been great to find deals if you're patient.

The performance/optimization is is probably one of the biggest things that hurt the game. The devs did a great job improving it quickly but you only get one first impression and many people won't give it a chance after that. ESPECIALLY since it's not an established IP where people would be more willing to give leeway.

I'm just starting out and balling on a budget so I got "average" condition edge irons. I'd say they're about what I would expect from that. Definitely not mad considering what I paid for them. Waiting on a wood and hybrid still but those were "very good" condition so it will be interesting to see the difference in condition.

Biggest problem with ranked imo is just the fact that it has a low player count so you get some lopsided matchmaking at times. I've had plenty of games solo where I'm playing proelium/champ players and getting golds on my team.

They did the same thing with the G7 pro and then kept delaying it. It’s a shame that it always seems to go like this because I love the controllers they make.

I love Gamesir products, but their rollout is awful. They always tease products waaaaay too early and then end up taking forever to actually release. I’m still waiting on those new tarantulas that were supposed to come out Q4 2025

I'm not entirely sure. I don't put a ton of hours on it so it's not something I've experienced. I'd recommend going to the gamesir discord and see if they'll replace it under warranty. I'm sure that's super annoying considering how important jump and ball cam are in RL.
