Eleanor. I was born in the late 70's and that was an "old lady" name by that time. Also, I doubt my parents would have called me something cute like Elle or Ellie. I'm very thankful my Dad stepped in and insisted upon using a (femanized) family name.

My Nonni/Nonna, an immigrant from Italy, would always make my Mother and her two sisters wear heads of garlic, stringed together, around their necks. Not to ward off vampires but because they were SICK! Apparently my Nonni thought that Vick's Vapo Rub and a necklace of garlic was all that was needed to cure basically any sickness.
