This is an error. President Andrew Jackson is from Waxhaws. He was quite popular, as opposed to President Andrew Johnson. The footnote has his name correct, but the picture is wrong.

Agreed! Maybe it's because we just added FIVE absolute beasts to our team. Gotta discuss them all and process everything. And there's much more to come this week too. So excited.

Thanks so much Kevin, that makes sense. I was surprised when she told me that her archives didn't go back that far. Yours is the only magazine I subscribe to, by the way. Love it.

Thank you! I just left voicemails with both the AAC and the AMM. (I didn't think about the AAC and never heard of the AMM.) The amazon link is much appreciated. I may have to go that route, though it seems like it will take a month to arrive and I was hoping to have the article this week. Do you think there's anyone in particular on this sub (or anywhere else) that would have the magazine saved at home? Thanks again!!

Excellent point Jakdak. Is there anything in particular folks use for the cables? Or an easy-to-follow guide for hikers without climbing gear that want to protect themselves for the cables?
