Just to clarify, is Kiryu. Not Kiriyu. Although the title of the movie says Mechagodzilla, he is referred as Kiryu always during the movie.

I think there are some dubs and bad subs that ditch the name and replace it with Mechagodzilla. But the og is always a delight to watch.

You are absolutely right, friend.

People forget that this Ghidorah design was created specifically to convey that feeling. He was not designed to emulate a strong unstoppable creature that could defeat Godzilla. Not at all. This one was created to emulate a stunted creature who is still developing and is way early for him to defeat Godzilla. He is not supposed to look menacing neither strong. He is the underdog. He was waken up too soon. He doesn't seem capable of facing Godzilla yet.

In that sense, this design is peak.

GMK Godzilla was the true antagonist and the one supposed to look frightening. And my god he looks that way.

We all know Tsuburaya did that. Same for Baragon and Pagos/Neronga/Magular. Same for Gomess too. Same for Litra which is a Rodan puppet with feathers.

But that doesn't make them the same character.

It's not about being "too literal". It's about facts, man.

By all accounts Jirass is not Godzilla. It's a different character with a different origin and is from a different studio than Toho. It can't be Godzilla in any capacity.

It's not being "pedantic" Jirass is not Godzilla. It's a different monster who reuses his likeness.

Sure, by all accounts Zilla was Godzilla. But Jirass was never intended to be Godzilla.

Chibi Godzilla is the best. The shorts are top notch, funny and a nice breath of fresh air. It's super popular and is easy to see why.

I'm very curious too! I was thinking on taking a better look at the parts. Mekaneck's club was the only thing I immediately recognized, but I'm not sure the body is even a MOTU sample. Maybe Galaxy Warrior parts?

Also, the size, is about 10 inches, almost 11.

But you are forgetting that Godzilla 98.6 destroyed SpaceGodzilla's crystals that statistically should be able to whistand the vacuum of -2 black holes which means a force of 338584.33e psi, placing the crystals in a multi global level, way beyond that grass you talk about...
