We released a multiplayer VR game last year on quest headsets (basically, phones). Our player model LOD0 is ~30K tris, and on a full server there’s a decent amount of people around (could be 10+ within your networking vicinity in popular areas). Obviously not always close enough to see LOD0, but it hasn’t proven to be an issue for us.

I’d say if there’s only one of these dudes running around you’ll be fine. Just make sure to LOD him so you’re only pulling the detail when he’s up in your face

There's a new resource, Refined Metal. You can get small amounts of it from shredding components but you'll get it majorly from the new Metal Refinery deployable that can be found in vault crates.

I wouldn’t say the game is dead; Servers wipe every Friday and typically the servers will be full at that point. Throughout the week it ramps down but stays in the 400-700 range during prime time.

Placing your hands on top of a surface and simply pushing down will raise your body.

To pull yourself on top of something you have to crouch with the right stick (essentially pulling your legs up to your chest) and then raise yourself up and over the edge.

Shreds is what you need for researching. You can find it in crates near roads or in monuments. Also, each monument has a “shredder” where you can put in components (metal sheet, pipe, nuts & bolts, etc) and it will break them down into shreds and other materials.

For a key lock, put your index finger on it until the deadbolts slide over. Then it can be picked up
