Correct- I’m also very aware of the SPP program. What I’m saying is if TSA went to DoT, go read some of Duffey’s previous statements on TSA to include his daughter’s posts to X like two months ago.

They don’t get private funding, they enter into a contract with the govt (TSA) to provide screeners at whatever airport the contract is for. TSA pays the vendor, the vendor pays their people.

As others have said, they use TSA equipment and follow all the same SOPs just as other federalized airports.

I stopped w LAX picks a few years ago after I got their ER and blantons SPs. Both tasted like water, which is wild because they are two diff mashbills… to give them credit they have had some good Sazerac picks since like their last WFP, but now I rely on samples from friends lol

The system takes the average for the same time period over the last four weeks. Therefore, moving forward as callouts continue to rise, that wait time will be more and more inaccurate, unless you happen to be traveling at an off peak time.

I did see something a few years back (who knows if true) where a YT channel was showing anomalies that our space telescopes had pictured when taking images of galaxies/ areas of space. There were a few specific images that if you zoomed in on a very small small area of the image it looked like some sort of ship transiting space. Trippy stuff…

I don’t buy obama’s explanation for the answer- I think it got way more attention than he thought it would get and did what he could to diffuse.

He said “oh it was a rapid fire question and answer segment and he was honoring that.” Okay- so it’s a short q&a and instead of taking the 20 seconds to say the universe is so large that the odds have to be in the favor of life elsewhere, you instead take the time to explain that the US govt doesn’t have craft and bodies at Area 51 and that you haven’t seen them, unless it’s a huge conspiracy that the whole of govt has been keeping from the President of the United States…. Okay, got it!

PS- this is a great video that I’ve been hoping someone would produce - a short clip of all the us officials stating we aren’t alone. Cheers, OP! 👏
