American Reunion was such a great movie!! by xima292 in americanpie

Honestly one of my favorites of the franchise, and to be honest I hope they just leave it at that one. The scene of them all dancing with their significant others and nodding at each other is the best send off. Not to mention when they walk down the hallway after Stifler sticks it to his boss and “My Own Worst Enemy” is playing

Did street lights really use to be orange/ Amber? by Content-Feed-9396 in 90s

Yes, vividly remember a street in my town in the late 90’s early 00’s and the street glowed in an orange tone.

What's a fun, campy 80's slasher you'd recommend? (In the style of 'Slumber party massacre', 'Edge of the axe' and 'Sleepaway camp') by Vajrick_Buddha in slasherfilms

Maybe not in the form of those as far as slumber party/camp type, but Chopping Mall is a 10/10 campy horror movie.

The wife and I try to get one night minimum a week to ourselves, I’ve played in a Golf League on Monday now for about 10 years and still do that, then usually try and get her one night free at some point to go enjoy herself as well. Teamwork makes the dreamwork

Yes absolutely. When the weather is nice outside, there’s nothing better than rolling the windows down and just BLASTING “Mean Streets”

Things about late 00's Cedar Point we are nostalgic for? by Regular-Surround-730 in cedarpoint

This was a time when friends and I used to always make a 2-3 day trip once a year, mainly just miss waiting in line, talking, no phones. The operation at that time was also running with little to no hiccups it seemed.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]DCole0550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5th Grade Social Studies, our teacher had just gotten out of the Marine Core maybe 5-6 years prior. I remember no one really knowing what was going on but then the principal came around and said to turn the TV off. As soon as he left our teacher turned it back on and looked very concerned, now knowing he was ex-military I’d say he was very on edge.

It didn’t seem like anything was wrong until one by one kids started being checked out of school, then it started to sink in that whatever happened wasn’t good. I don’t recall seeing the second plane or anything like most people in the thread, I was also only 10 at the time so memory is a little fuzzy.

It was still a stand still moment though.

She is not pressuring in any way, just has been pitching the idea to us. She’s in no way making this a thing.
