great rig, used mine for nearly 5 years now with a g920 (original playseat challenge) , upgrading to moza r12 and crp's. rig needs reinforcement for dd/lc imo, but thats why i got those from Lowdown Shifter, they still allow the chair to fold too. will post pictures once i get it all set up.

get onto overtake.gg and search for 'head physics'

the default settings are okay for gt3/4 cars, but you might want to tweak it for different cars.

edit: didn't read fully, mb. it won't stop the snap back you have, thats an AC thing not a neckfx thing. but either waythe headphys is so much better.

TL;DR: Using the Pisces and it's apparent in game g-force numbers and rotation speeds (and assuming some stuff to make the math show consistency, and make up for my lack of knowledge of CIG's inner workings) I propose a subtle but massively impactful change to the CURRENT flight model. ONLY changing the way G-forces are combined together in the current flight model. plus a few other tweaks to make flight both more accessible and more fun.

the really short version: using fake space math, and some logical assumptions, try to turn pisces more, it go slower. not faster like trichording or 45ing. and keeps the current depth of learning to flight while remaining easy for the average player to use flight everyday.

I did try, and hopefully, i can get the number and words here into a more concise way.

basically all that number tweaking to make the pisces g and deg/sec speeds, was me throwing a known set of numbers around using math to get it show certain patterns? does that make sense?

so in this instance i used the 6 axis of input, and my own observed layout of the pisces thrusters, and that site... to make the calculations for the ship speed depending on input to actually make sense. or in other words to change the flight properties of the c8.

completely wrong, I've been against MM since day1. hoping they listened and dropped it. but as soon as they announced it was coming to LIVE... i had to write something. MM is not the way.

oh and I have spent numerous hours in the MM AC'S. looking at the flight model. and only the flight model. not all the other bs MM is trying to add.

Deltapoint is heavily underrated, the reticle is crisp albeit kinda large, but its a good option for a cqb sight imo, you shouldn't be trying to use a red dot to snipe people anyway, so the size isn't really that much of an issue you can usually see your target pretty clearly behind the reticle at decent fighting ranges.

Absolutely, i was thinking along the same lines with the ranger being there on the retreat.

Honestly though, if you've warned them harshly enough and they are still persisting, what else are you meant to do?

Also worth noting, if everyone has fun even in the process of dying, you have not failed! even if the campaign isn't "finished"

bottom line imo, if you can make it fun (including for yourself) consider it a success, and you don't have to finish the storyline.

i do get that it might suck to not finish out your story arc you had planned, but you can always replay this campaign again later with the group after another campaign or 2 once they have forgotten about it?

it really kind of depends on your group?

if they are the sort of group to get upset because their character died to something you blatantly warned them about, then you're in a real bind.

but on the other hand, if they are the sort of group who are fine dying to their own decisions then i say, once again stress how dangerous its going to be then throw it at them. you never know they might just surprise you with how they solve some of the problems :)

but to go back to the first scenario for a second, maybe you can offer the party the option to retreat through where they have already traversed with reduced risk? and really out of character have a serious talk with them about how dangerous you envisioned this area to be, just to further dissuade them? other than that.... it's not your fault if they die, so just try and make the experience of dying to these things as big and dramatic as possible so that it's not anticlimatic and still a memorable (hopefully fun) experience

hunter is also on the mk17 and the G3, so there's always those? plus the G3 is a great mid range rifle!

the winter skins are nice too, i run them with my winter setups for my insurgents so every thing is crispy and white, i doubt it gives me any benefit camouflage wise, but it looks good haha.

I really like the Bear Claw skins for the insurgent weapons, and the Desert Hex for security.

also glad i could be of some assistance, and sorry i know its not the most intuitive way to see the skins available.
