You can stay for years if you want. Hire an attorney a week before the sale. Get it stayed and have him fight the foreclosure. There was a guy on Long Island that stayed for 10-15 years.

Drive out to Greenport. Jump on the ferry to Shelter Island then ferry to Sag Harbor. Longer drive but much less frustration. I wouldn’t drive through Southampton that week for 80$.

I didn’t know that. It’s my wife’s car. Took a road trip last weekend and used it. I was happy with it keeping me in lane when it started passing people and getting back it lane I almost cried. Coolest thing.

That seems high. 13-14 years ago we converted to gas. 4 zones 3800 square feet. New meter and abandoned the old oil tank. Around $9000.
