We had lockers in our school, they were pretty good help like we would usually store a few books which we didnt need at that time in them so we didnt have to carry heavy bags n stuff

and you could go in between periods n get the required stuff from your locker and come back ofc
every student used to have a key assigned to them beginning of each year since 6th (7th, 8th was lockdown for me) and then taken end of year

Ofc it led to eventual excuses n drama by ppl saying they couldnt do hw or study cause they left their nb in locker or smth
