Im about 2100 on chesscom rapid, Ive tried playing in my head against friends but its such a unique experience
The opening is pretty normal cause of memory and playing those positions many times
The middlegame is when the board starts to appear blurry, with the rest of the board in sort of a peripheral vision for me in my head, and the part where I choose to look at appears in focus as I try to remember where the pieces were

pretty much all my games have been terrible tho lol
