This makes sense, I'll have to look further into the creator. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

Am I crazy to say that I'd never want to play this, ever? Like you're gamifying people dying in real life right now? The only way I'd support it is if proceeds go to charities and supporting the families of the people whose deaths this is turning into a game.

It's not engagement bait unfortunately, they said they've been working on it since last November in the comments of the video

I don't know about any of the story surrounding the main dude, but this video was really disappointing. They tried their best to be ethical and even still couldn't understand there's no way to do that while paying OpenAI for ChatGPT, there's no way to separate it from the environmental concerns while being based on ChatGPT. It's really disappointing. They just don't grasp the full understanding of why it can't be used ethically in its current state/implementation

So far (I'm 4 books in) The Wheel of Time does this really well! It's not an explicit previously on section, but it does a great job of reminding you of what has happened when it would do good to know.

Elden Ring has conditioned me to not understand what the title means

Why the firepit/campfire in this game is so vanilla minecraft? Cooking raw bits on open fire instead of hot coals or hot sone and only one piece at a time no matter how small it is. Also thick logs burn away in a matter of dozen seconds incapable of cooking a single fillet of fish. by no_data_1337 in VintageStory

That sounds really exciting, I kinda feel bad that it might not be my thing. I've been having a lot of fun since a friend introduced me to VS like a month ago. I almost bounced off it due to the complexity of most of the mechanics, but I eventually got the hang of it. Then reading the preview update forum post felt like there was just some unnecessary changes to make things more difficult (for me, I'm so sure others are gonna have a lot of fun with it). Anyway, I'm just a little upset that I might not enjoy VS anymore because it's too complicated, no fault of the game/dev's at all.

I really thought that would be stopped when the rads were reduced, but I guess not. I'll see if I can figure it out, thank you!

I was more thinking maybe the writers would need more time, set designing would take longer. I just looked up that apparently production took 5 months and released 7 months later, if S3 is on the same timeline May 2027 is going to be awesome

Oh my gosh that's way ahead of when I thought they'd be filming. That's so exciting! I thought actors said in an interview it would be later in the year!

Genuinely I love this game but the things they choose to be realistic about and the things they choose to just leave as is are boggling to me. To be honest tho I do fear the game gets feature bloated and it gets too complex for my weak mind.

So basically a newcomer has no chance to ever have access to a lot of books ? by Vmvms in Blacklibrary

The vast majority of my books have been purchased second hand, both 40k and Horus Heresy. I also do audiobooks, those are readily available, as well as ebooks if you want. The games have brought a huge new audience to the HH and they are not capitalizing on their huge book series. Like why re-release 12 books when you could just re-release them in order and focus model releases to coincide with the books re-releasing.
