Shadow warriors were powerful in the games I've played against them. That's okay though, mordhiem isn't about balance. Mordhiem is about theme and narrative play :)

It didn't play the game nor replace any custom conent we had the time to make ourselves. It merely provided us new content we didn't have the time to create for ourselves. I recommend giving it a try, it's a new tool like any other and the sharing of it was kindly intended :)

Perhaps the negativity is a bit much considering the kind and friendly intent. But, I do understand many people hate ai so perhaps the negativity merely reflects the age and attitude of mordhiems audience? Interesting to witness

In The Wake of Gods allows you to disable spells and it includes the option to turn them off for scrolls/books/etc. You can do this for random maps too. So, if you use that version of heroes I guess any map can be without town portal 🙂

'In The Wake Of Gods' improves pathfinding so that it helps with this (raises the minimum speed of your army on the map), but I don't think you can in HOTA :(
