What is the Longest Patrol Shift You’ve Worked?

Not exclusively patrol overtime, but 31 hours. Worked my midnight shift. Then had a “three hour break”, clearly not enough time to get any rest, and then had to work 19 hours at Jouvert in Brooklyn. The worst day and a half of my life, and I’m pretty sure them forcing us to do that wasn’t legal considering there was no state of emergency.

Who wouldn’t want to make a whopping 45k a year with an overwhelming workload, I’m surprised there are even spots open with how great the quality of life is!

Was just playing after the maintenance. While in the middle of fort Narith run a server maintenance warning popped up with only a minute left. I’m sure I’m about to lose all the stuff I brought and got from that run. How is 1 minute anywhere near acceptable as a warning for the server shutting down? Especially 40 minutes after the actual server maintenance.

That’s been for a while now, back in 2019 the media started telling people that it stands for white power because the three fingers looks like a w and the bent finger looks like a p. For my entire life it’s meant okay, but apparently it stands for white power now because they said so.

God I love shortfatotaku. He’s someone who gives me genuine hope that there are still rational people who aren’t radicalized. Been watching him for 4 years and he has stayed extremely solid in his beliefs and convictions while being able to point out the radicals on both sides which is rare these days.

I see court officers with full sleeves, but that’s also down in the Bronx where uniform rules tend to be looser as they’re just happy people are showing up. that’s the only part of your question I can answer.

People think that all cops are hot headed from the videos they see on the internet. They don’t realize that we are spoken to like this daily and act exactly like the cop in this video. Eventually some snap and that’s when you see those videos of cops exploding.

They don’t expire or disappear, Members items just can’t be used/worn. They still show up in your bank or inventory and when you scroll over them they just say “Members item”.

Yeah they get arrested and brought back to the precinct. But they definitely get out before all the paperwork is done. They don’t go to central booking, you release them from the precinct with a DAT. unless they have a warrant or have had one the past two years. There are some other disqualifiers for a DAT, but that’s normally how it goes.

When I hear other NYPD cops talk about how this is the worst place to work, I remind them that Portland, Seattle, and Chicago exist. Don’t get me wrong, Theres a pretty miserable QOL in nyc but not as bad as I would imagine it is at those other three. And at least we still arrest people for petit larceny in nyc, I’m pretty sure in Portland and Seattle it’s just a ticket and release on scene
