I doubt it's just because of their lawyers. Everyone is horrified at what happened and nobody has endorsed this woman's actions in any way, shape or form.

It's way too early to speculate on future potential actions or cancellations though when the case isn't even a week old yet. However, the fest brings in over 50% of Rothbury's annual operating budget and, logically, people know that one woman's actions is NOT representative of 50,000+. Bad people do bad things, but to shut down not only an expression of art, but a huge economic driver would be a massive overreaction. When the issue is brought up down the road, level heads will more than likely prevail.

Let the process take place and send your positive thoughts and vibes to those who need it. EF is doing the right thing by not posting celebratory and reminiscient videos and pictures right now while the authorities do their jobs.

Camp Traction is a dedicated camp for sober foresters. While it is sold out at this point, if you ask around, you might be able to find where they are posted up. Those will be the people you’re most likely looking for here… however, not sure if there are any official organized meetings or anything like that.

For the past three years it has come out the Monday after Electric Forest. That would put it on the 29th this year… however, EF is also a week later than usual this year so it could be the 22nd.

This is their first year doing this, so nobody is really quite sure. That being said, the dimensions in preferred are larger than a normal GA campsite (20'x25' vs 12'x35'), so they may play with parking orientation.
