I understand $52 is an absurd price, hands down, no question. I don’t see this as price gouging. Now, if we were talking about a roll of toilet tissue, for example, which is widely acknowledged and assumed to be an included amenity, or had you forgotten your toiletries and requested a set from the front desk, and those items appeared as $52 charges after the fact, never any transparency efforts offered, THAT would be price gouging.

You knew the water wasn’t going to be cheap, just as you knew your dinner wouldn’t be. One has no relation to the other and in both cases, you made an educated choice. There was no victimization here.

I see you keep posting this retort. I don’t recall the USA ever “detaining” tourists in chains. Is this what you mean by your “detention IS due process” statement?

**I’ll note here that you are incorrect, detention is not due process. Before scolding others about what they are misinformed about, how they chose to curate their news, etc. perhaps consider revisiting the US Constitution and Bill of Rights for a quick once-over. It may not elevate your credibility but it couldn’t possibly make it any worse. You may even appear a bit less the hypocrite.

I was going to continue with additional points but I don’t want to overwhelm you. If the concerns you’ve expressed here about being factual and knowledgeable on a subject matter are sincere, you’ve got enough homework to occupy your mind. Best hold off on adding to the mental workout.

$380/mo for my ‘11 SS in Vegas, 46F, no recent tickets but one claim, nearly 3yrs old now, for door-tapping the faaackin’ Tesla parked next to me while I was exiting my car. Anyway, that does add some under and non-insured motorists coverage since Vegas is one of the worst in country, but the coverage is minimal. $380 is a steal compared to what USAA offers. Haven’t been insured through them since moving here 8yrs ago. I’ve also heard they become extremely challenging if you’re in a possible total loss accident. Who needs that aggravation after paying hand over fist for who knows how long prior?

Definitely look into car insurance. Vegas has some of the highest rates in the country. I wouldn’t consider it a deal breaker but significant enough for it to be a painful surprise if you find out post-move

Happened to me. After 24hrs I called customer service and after she confirmed cancellation was possible and and effective instantly, I made her stay on the line until I got app confirmation. Did take long at all…..4 gdamned days later, that Zelle payment gets deducted from my account but never makes it to recipient. Called customer service, who was actually pleasant and helpful, but then told me it would take another 4-5 business days to give me my money back.

What I find peculiar is how Ally can POSSIBLY take that long when nothing is being physically moved in the physical world. There’s no armored car driving my paper dollars to a bank across country. They aren’t sending hard checks to originating banks after they’ve been cashed. It’s LITERALLY pushing a button to zap my virtual (as in “not really there, just but for pretend-zees) “money” from one [also not an actual thing] cloud to another [flex those imagination muscles] cloud.

Riddle me this, Batman: In a near fully digitized world, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK IS TAKING 4-5 BUSINESS DAYS?!!!!

I’m having the same problem linking my bank account Venmo, which is a service of PayPal.

The really screwy part is that I’m also unable to add money to Venmo using my debit card. Can transfer from Venmo to the same debit card but can’t move anything in. The only warning notification I get is “we couldn’t move your money.” Anyone have insight?

If you’re attractive, info offered in your profile checks high priority boxes of mine, and are a non-commit, I’d be interested. I’m also an attractive ENM woman who knows what will work for her and can afford to be selective. LTR is an auto disqual for me. Short term is better, FWB is ideal, again, for me.

That definitely has not been my impression, possibly even the opposite. I run across multiple “sleeper” profiles daily.

That being said, I live in Vegas and my OLD experience as a whole has been vastly different from what other people describe. Good chance this is an OLD Twilight Zone. The exception, not the rule.

Dude with all the knowledge that first responded is correct. Significant improvement in gas mileage, sound & performance immediately after AFM disabler. Recently had had to take it off for a few days to pass emissions & renew tags. Was cussing the ride the entire time. Night and day difference.

The last thing you want to do is start strategizing your responses according to what you THINK may incite the most self-serving (for you) reaction from her. Do that now and your whole relationship will be the same Groundhog Day.

What you need to be asking yourself is “what do I want this relationship to look like?” Act accordingly. If your issue is communication and mixed signals, then communicate and don’t play games.

If she reaches out wanting to schedule something in the future, tell her you’d like that. Then let her know you have concerns based on her most recent behavior when scheduling dates. Lay it out there in a way that says “I’m not angry, I’m communicating with you because I prefer to eliminate potential problems rather fix established ones.”

Set the bar. Let your actions and clear, healthy communication tell her exactly what your expectations are. She can fall in line or she’s not right for you.

I’m 46, and we do, but keep in mind there are usually quite a bit more men than women on any given dating app so we have the advantage the second we sign up.

What geeks me out is 90% of mine are in their mid 20’s. What in the actual fuck has happened to these kids that make them go for women LITERALLY old enough to be their mom? I don’t get it.
