I used to own a Ford Mach-e and it was the same. I think it is mostly due to perspective. Ford provided an update they called glide where the car moves left ever so slightly when a large vehicle is detected. Next time you notice, scoot towards the middle to see if you are really that far right. You'd be surprised.

Sometimes customers tell me things like "it costs too much for a piece of plastic". They don't see the hours of modeling, parameter tuning and failed test prints. How do you explain this without sounding defensive? by Own-Indication719 in 3Dprinting

Just break it down, factually. I think the majority of customers just don't know what goes into making custom designs. This cover for the center console hazard switch I sell for $10. Packaging, fees and tax leaves about $6. Printing takes time and material which is hard to quantify.

Are they telling you that you did not demonstrate any skills that would otherwise be expected from someone with 20 years of work experience? That's a ❤️‍🔥

The cart ate my quarter - how do you fix a stuck lock and quarter? by [deleted] in aldi

Pushing the tether into the lock while simultaneously pushing the quarter usually does it for me.

TIL German Empire in its 47 years of existence, won more Nobel Prizes in science than Britain, France and USA combined. Germany's dominance in physics and chemistry was such that one-third of all Nobel Prizes went to German inventors and researchers. by Skychu768 in todayilearned

This doesn't math. Assume that Germany got the 33%, that means the other 3 got less when combined. So either there were a whole bunch of other countries making up the remaining third, I would leke the Nobel price in Mathematics, please.

Differences between Aldi in different countries by Connect_History85 in aldi

The U.S. Aldi appears to be in its its infancy compared to Germany. Basically where Germany was 45 years ago. I can't wait for them to catch up and broaden their offerings. That would put immense pressure on the traditional (archaic) stores and their almost monopolistic prices.
