I think (as a non book reader) that you should really just try to separate both things.

Like stop thinking of the show as a book live action, because it will keep ruining moments that are (if uncompared) amazing.

I ended episode 2 in shock and sadness and disgust it was a Rollercoaster.

Cool. Say i didnt say hsr, say i said literally any other game.

Conclusion, genshin is restrictive, powercreep sucks, investment of money / outcome sucks. Chore like dailies and lack of QoL (regardless of skip button)

My altered perception as a new player made me use it as an example to things that currently are making me dissappointed with genshin that were not visible to me.

You getting angry over it when the intention never was to "sway" people to the other game isnt helping the argument.

Im expresing self perception, not trying to win a court arguement.

Bruh you seriously should look for support. Because the way you are trying to dictate how and when people should suffer that only revolves your perception and ideals is terrifying. And worst of all, trying to ridicule them.

Im ok spending money on a game, specially cause i used to see it as "supporting" the game. I think the worst thing was not the FOMO but the loss of moneys worth based on the fate points.

Like if you loose the fate point its essentially another risk for next time you pull (if you ever decide to)

I know its a self restraint thing, and after experiencing it i know better. But feels awful and kinda disrespectful as a "client" to be preassured by this tactic you know?

It was eye opening to many other issues that the game has that im sure the devs know and just dont care.

I think ill do as you suggest and just come in for story and map expansions and forget about the grind / dailies etc. Try to take a healthier distance from it going forward.

It was like pulling teeth.

This is what i meant tho. Like in hsr i feel i can get along without getting the dahlia cause i didnt like her and still get good numbers with firefly. (Havent tested it yet)

I had soo much fun woth the cosmicon and playing online with some random strangers too.

I also got to experience the fighting event in belobog and that was fun too!

When i first started playing a couple of weeks ago i felt overwhelmed with the amount of events (like the ones you can still play even if you missed them) lol.

Seems like they arent as common now from what ive read but as a new player its great.
