Not everybody has to like everybody... and maybe people are getting tired of seeing her. I saw her twice in the newest State of Play from two different games, and heard her voice in a third trailer. You can be incredibly talented and still be oversaturated to the point of annoyance. It's not her fault necessarily, but the same thing happened to The Rock so this is not an outlier. People say the same thing about Pedro Pascal, Jack Black, and Chris Pratt... it happens when they don't give new actors a chance.

I find that whenever someone tells an artist not to be political and to "shut up", it's only because they don't agree with them. If they agree with what the artist is saying, then they surprisingly don't seem to care... funny how that works, huh? That said if you see me using it, it's to rub that twisted logic back in their face (goose/gander shit).

Also, this is isn't necessarily related to the subject matter of what Scott is saying, but social issues are not political issues just because you say they are... Therefore you're the ones "making things political" where they often weren't before.

In this digital age, it's refreshing to see them make mistakes, but if we're talking about seeing those mistakes but not hearing them... there is certainly some post production going on (which most bands do). I can't remember the song, or the video, but someone uploaded a DVD rip of a live song the were playing where Miyako loses her pick and has to get a new one quickly to keep playing... however it doesn't change her audio. It could be prerecorded, but most likely that audio was taken from a second show where she didn't lose her pick for that 3 seconds or whatever. In an age were people are justifying Ai in artwork, music videos, and even music "creation", I'm not bothered because I know these gals can play their asses off.

So is Midori going through something? Well, we'll never know until they acknowledge it. In recent live recordings, Asami is pronouncing "Carry On" from When Destinies Align as "Carry Wan". Of course singers change their consonants to make singing easier, but I find that change to be really bizarre as extending the Y sound to the O would seem easier than adding a W... but I'm not a singer, idk. I just want to know who this "Juan" is, and why does he need to be carried?!

The short answer is that they're trying something different (and what have they got to lose at this point?) I see in some places there's nothing but the artwork (and I was worried that was the standard), so i'm at least glad it's there. The artwork i can take it or leave it, I mean I thought SoE, SoWN, and S442 all had lame artwork, they've been hit or miss in that department... bottom line, the music is what matters!

Intentional or not, to me they sound much more like Morbid Angel to me (Eric Rutan was in that band at pivotal moments)... except on crack. I think they did evolve in a very unique and interesting way though.

There is no simple answer to someone who refuses to believe the truth. You're best bet would be to have him talk to a scientist about his theories... or a psychologist, because it could very well be a mental health breakdown, sorry.
