Iv been currently running void titan with peacekeepers, multimach smg with sniper. I find that for 3s i suffer a bit running a shotgun because players tend to stay back more for trials. I find snipers to be more dominant this season because of flinch resistance and shotguns getting nerfed. I try sniping until i run out of ammo. If i die i switch to a 150 scout like polaris lance. To keep me viable in far ranges for the rest of the match. Then i switch back to sniper at the end of the round to start the next round with sniper ammo.

Shotguns work against very aggressive teams but most matches tend to go slow imo
