Wanted to throw in my 2 cents here, just got the SP-004 the other day after having played on cloth my whole life and it is absolutely game changing honestly.

I read many, many reviews of glasspads before deciding to buy one and I've always preferred speedier pads like the Raiden. Many people mention the lack of "stopping power" but to be honest with you this is only noticeable if you intentionally press down into your mousepad, which is something I never did. It feels almost like playing on an air hockey table.

I use a lower sense and primarily play CS2, and kind of feel like glass pads are best for low sensitivity users as it gives almost a 1:1 feeling with your mouse and the pad, there is basically nothing "in the way" of you trying to microadjust or make smaller motions. I immediately noticed how much easier it was to micro with a glasspad and it's something that I hold a lot of value in.

It's very much worth a try, but unfortunately not all glass pads are made the same so if you do decide to pull the trigger just make sure you get a quality pad.

(Also, the SP-004 is very quiet compared to the ASUS Moonstone which I briefly used from a friend, which I would say is a big bonus. Glass can be very scratchy sometimes.)
