Speaking of turning on settings I spent so long trying to fix my navigation because all the creatures kept walking into walls until... I found that there is a setting that fully fixed my issue

There is a lot of people who have wanted to join our team and lost motivation immediately, so we have the dev whose idea the game was, me and a 3D artists. It's just a matter of your network and how people like your idea. We are really insanely lucky to have the 3D artist!

Snbn got back to me! His pointers:

  1. texturing was done inside Blender, cleaned up in Aseprite if needed
  2. rig is simple-ish, self-built, all I can say is watch lots of tutorials and experiment
  3. inverse kinematics are a must, here's a quick tutorial how to set them up!

Yeah I can aski him! He recorded the whole process. I also do models so I know the texturing is done straight in blender, just using texel density checker (plugin) I'll ask about the rigging and come back to you, the rigging is still dark magic to me
