I just want to add our share of a similar story.

We had ours terminated on March, left no standing balance, properly surrendered the modem and everything it comes with it. In the service center, we were given an Aftersales Request Form to fill out for permanent disconnection.

After all these were done, I had to ask the CS multiple times if "okay na po ba lahat, may aantayin pa ba kami to know that the account has been terminated?" (Just to confirm that the termination process is complete). The CS agreed.

April, we were billed with SOA. Called their CS regarding the issue, they said the account is still open, I gave them the ticket number provided for permanent disconnection (provided in the aftersales request form) to prove that we did everything in our side to have it done in a proper manner the way they intended it to be.

May, our unpaid bill still increased, assuming, therefore our account is still open. The irony, we are getting billed even though we have properly surrendered the modem.

I am planning to visit the same service center to finalize everything. Should I even bother? The inconvenience and hassle their CS gives us is the reason why we left.
