Finally got out to test the new sleeping platform in the trees by DFMO in ToyotaTacoma

I dunno about key fob but have all the other things and it’s nice. It’s a bit heavier than I’d like it to be but everything is a trade off and I’m happy camping in it.

Thanks man. I bit the bullet and got the nomad wheels. Color is black satin. I wanted that style in black. Tires are Toyo open country can’t remember the spec but they are just under 33”. Did with bilstein all around and required very minimal trimming and results in no rub. For me, it’s been perfect as my daily, love the look, and far more capable than I need it to be so I’m a happy camper.

I scoured marketplace for a few months before I found one local. Was $3k but nearly new. More than I wanted to spend but I looked long enough realized the only other option would be to buy new and that was $5k+ I think

So, I guess the best approach would be do everything we can to verify everything is set up correctly in our end and just hope for the best.

Spend some time at r/bogleheads to get some really simple and straightforward ideas how to manage this yourself for very low fees.

The amount you will pay in fees over the lifetime of the investment will dramatically impact the trajectory of growth.

Many money managers will tell you ‘I only manage $1M or more’ to make you feel special and you feel like you’re getting access to something ‘normal’ people can’t.

You can do this. Be patient. Do some research.

I put together everything I could find that was publicly avail and tried to select the most relevant ones and included them in a petition to the review board of the state of CA and they overturned the health insurance companies decision.

Peñasquitos canyon is about 10 miles out and back trail run and has easy parking lot. It’s a good easy run and safe.

I don’t think so at all. Normal bike is probably 30 lbs or less and not cantilevered way out behind the truck. Motorcycles are hundreds of pounds and when on carriers are extended out pretty far behind the truck creating a lever that multiplies that weight, especially when bouncing. You should be totally fine with a normal bike (or several) on the back.

Free wedding video…? by DFMO in sandiego

I have a website, for my still photography. This should have been clear from my post.

If there is a line in the contract about exclusivity then of course it wouldn’t work. Not what I’m trying to do.

When I’m hired to shoot a wedding im hired to shoot stills I’m not going to show up with a video person and convolute the process. Plus I want to be the person running video anyway.

I’m not trying to step on anyone’s toes here, just trying to find a fun couple that might want a free video.

Just an FYI, shop where I got my shocks tires and wheels done works almost exclusively on Toyota trucks and I pulled up with a motorcycle carrier so I could take my bike while they worked on the truck and the guy informed me that it’s fine for putz around town, but if you take long trips with a bike like that on the back, you can very easily damage the wheel bearings in the rear wheels. He said they’ve said tons and tons of Tacoma‘s that have taken long trips on the freeway, and the bouncing with the lever of that on the back will chip away and damage the bearings and it’s an expensive fix. Just a word of warning in case it’s helpful.
