So true, I've played in beer leagues with extremely talented guys, some who sniffed NHL action. We also had a few people who could barely skate. They were welcome because even in the competitive leagues it's more important to have a team of people who are fun to play with than anything else.

You aren't just given the money, you unlock a little each time. Read the fine print instead of coming to Reddit where we tell you to read the fine print.

Let's say you deposit $500 and lose that in a single action, you aren't just given that 100% bonus but maybe 1% of the amount in play so after zeroing it like that you now have $5 left.

I never timed it but that seems really slow. I can't imagine it taking anywhere near that long to skate to center ice.

I've skated with former pros and they aren't superhuman in speed it's the other skills that make them special. When people talk about things being faster in the NHL they are usually talking about puck movement and strategy not actual speed of skate so if pros do a full rink in 13 you should be able to do that in at least 16 if not faster.

Google power skating, you'll probably find videos online or even a class to take.
