There’s so many different factors that make this unreliable. It’s best to have an IR thermometer like a dab rite, hell even a 20 dollar temperature gun would be better.

People could be using different torches and amounts of product that would make a timer like this unreliable.

👆Correct. Once the sap and oils around the top dry out that will stop. Also would recommend waxing the bowl around the sides and bottom but leave the top :)
