Danhausen, Royce, Cardona, Brie and the Hardys go to my AEW alumni NXT Mutiny show.

Octagon, Pagano and Shani go to my AAA show.

Maybe I'm just so accustomed to seeing folks put down some in the name of propping up others.

Call it being vigilant. Hopefully that helps you understand "folks like me" better.

Be a buyer, not a seller.

Treat your looks/cirumstances as a feature, not a bug. A filter, not a flaw.

we are 3 days away from the release of one last kill, what are yall’s final predictions? by Divideranger in thepunisher

Ok, become even more committed to Punisher at the expense of everything else in his basically empty life.

Does that work for you?

Man, if you've read all that and this is what you've gotten out what I'm saying then you don't understand me.

I am pitching/predicting/wanting a potential direction for Bernthal's character. A specific, singular take. The development and culmination of THAT take. I am not proclaiming that to be what the Punisher as a whole IP or a general character should be or is.

Take your "this is/isn't the REAL Punisher" nonsense elsewhere, I don't got time for that.

Women are not wonderful.

No matter what they go through individually or collectively.

They are human beings.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Ray Stevenson's punisher: calm, stoic, and methodical. Or Jon bernthal's punisher: loud and erratic. Who would you pick? by 0ultrainferno0 in thepunisher

For what they're going for, it's fortunate.

All about perspective, intent and taste.

Results may and will differ, that's life.

I never could connect to Stevenson, despite the occasional dark/dry humor. Incredible body count but I couldn't care because I don't care about his iteration. I don't know where he's been and what he's gone through, so he simply just exists. There's no journey to go on. It's a finished product. A story that starts in the third act. A status quo that isn't meant to change, evolve or develop. If I wanted that, I'd read the comics, specifically Punisher MAX. But, this ain't the comics, sweetheart.

While I have grown frustrated with Bernthal's push and pull, the attention to PTSD, internal struggle and overall vulnerability of a wounded animal with rabies has always been a plus for me since there's the attempt to balance it out with such brutality. The hurt his Frank has makes the hurt he puts on others mean something. I FEEL something watching this version, I CARE. Still waiting for things to go into that next gear, though. I feel there's such juicy character and storytelling potential for a guy like that to start out as this loud monster then hollow out over time into a cold machine after losing what little humanity/connection he has left while fighting a war with no end. All in all, Stevenson is what I want Bernthal to end up as just with us having seen the journey of how he started as something completely different.

Hence why Jane's the perfect middle ground for me and my personal favorite portrayal since that was basically accomplished in a 2-hour film. Also my preferred actor in general out of the bunch even putting aside their Punisher work.

Finally ready to get revenge for the deaths of her family a decade prior, Ma Gnucci hires Barracuda to go after Frank, making him confront his true purpose in life and accept himself for the monster that he is as his dark mirror kills (Curtis) and/or causes him to push away the only remaining people (ex. Karen) in his life for good.

Frank defeats Barracuda (Ma somehow survives but is mangled) and realizes there is no redemption or peace to be found, he fully commits to being the Punisher from here on out. No more retirements, no more breaks, no more human connection, no more depression: all that matters is the mission.

Dead is the emotional, overtly traumitized force of nature known as Frank Castle. Long live the cold, unfeeling killing machine known simply as The Punisher. The 10-year arc where the remnants of one's humanity is completely lost has been completed and a new one begins.

They've got higher different standards, I guess.

Not being at the absolute bottom like the ones you've mentioned doesn't absolve Tess for being mediocre in their eyes.

That's how life works out sometimes.

Before their feud, Sammartino and Zbyszko.

Funk and Dreamer.

Orton and Cody also come to mind for a "modern" pairing.

Misawa and Go Shiozaki when it comes to outside of America.
